I highly reccomend the shifter bushing, before i installed it i would have about 2-3 inches of shifter play WHILE IN GEAR, after the marlincrawler bushing its about 1mm of play. Also, do the sogi short shifter mod if you dont plan on getting a short shifter. IT all really makes a huge difference...

its that little protruding screw that contacts the throttle spool when its closed. if you screw the screw in more, then the throttle will open a tiny bit, should be enough to make it idle right.

86.5 is supposedly the lightest mk3, so youll be pretty quick, although youll have to custom fab the mounts or get the BIC adapters. if you want a cheap standalone theres also megasquirt, which is probably what ill end up doing.
you realize theres a HUGE difference in how much fuel is used in idling and in wide open throttle?
it might idle fine because its in closed loop, meaning its reading off the o2 sensor. once you floor it the computer goes into open loop and stops reading the o2 sensor and goes extremely rich...
your problem is your injectors. theyre too big and your not compensating for them thru tuning.
stock injectors on a 1jz are 370 and you put in 440s, so your running super rich, the ecu doesnt compensate for it because it doesnt know they are 440s.
so replace with stock injectors or get fuel...
