the dsm crowd has TONS of info on this, im planning on doing a hx40 on my 1jz
all you really need is a t3 manifold or a t3/t4 adapter and you need to weld the wastegae flap shut on the holset OR get a custom housing called a BEP hosuing that comes in .55AR or .70AR and 3" v band exhaust...
well cams shift your curve to top end, a bigger turbo also adds to spool time so the only thing you can do is go 1.5jz, also you can try changing your rear end, what gear ratio do you have now? try upgrading to the 4.3lsd
thats sick! 1 question though, why go with the ct26? i see you made your custom flange, have you heard of holset turbos? theyre inexpensive and very reliable and make very good numbers
i dont think there was any difference in the n.a versions
well, does it have a maf or does it have a map sensor? if you have the engine you should be able to see =P
Im looking at these injectors right now for installing into a 1jz. assuming I use a top feed fuel rail, will these fit without a resistor pack since they are high impedance?

i hope youre not planning on staying n/a.
go na-t and then youll truly be impressed. i still remember the first time i hit full boost on my 1j after swapping from 7mge
holy !#$#
thats one thing that im wondering about, if i were to go MSII, where would you get the crank wheel and sensor setup for any specific engine? is it all custom work?
throttle cable: goto the junkyard and look for a v6 camry, it has the perfect length and is alot cheaper. im running one on my 1jz and its perfect, it even bolts up to the firewall with the exact same bolt pattern
Ok so i have a 1jz, walbro 255 and aeromotive fpr set at 38 psi with the vacuum hose off, stock turbos. UEGO wideband.
I installed my manual boost controller and set it for 14-15 psi, but i noticed it will sometimes stutter around the higher rpms. Im not running lean, my af ratios are always...
usually 1.5jz is for people who already did a 1jz swap and..
A) have a big single on their 1j head and want more displacement(1j and 2j use different manifolds
B) blew up their bottom end
C) blew up their bottom end and might as well get a 2j with more displacement
