That not pushing the car too hard.
Blue smoke is oil. Where its coming from is the question. If you think about it, what is different between normal running of an engine and deceleration? inside the cylinder is very low pressure. Anywhere there is a potentially leak, it will be pulled into...
Hey guys, what do your ignition maps look like? Im trying to get a general idea of what these motors like. My EGTs are roughly 1550F in the upper RPMS at 18psi with 50/50 water/meth and a 7GPM nozzle.
Heres my ignition map.
Anyone want to share there ignition map for the greater...
The last picture in the add shows the oil inlet and outlet clocked wrong. Should face down rather then to the passenger side of the car (USDM cars). Can be a bitch to get the center section to turn in the exhaust housing. Use a torch to heat up the exhaust housing and itll make the job much easier.
Is this new grounds? Maybe a record, or accomplishment to break something the mighty car part breaker (IJ) has not broken (At least on this car)?????????
Crazy though fo' sho.
What did your tuning involve? Adding timing or leaning out the mixture? Both? Exellent numbers!
Suprahero: Are you running straight methanol or 50/50 with water? What size nozzle are you running?
I have herd of AEM having bad connections.
Are you using a stock ignitor?
How do you know it went rich? From wideband? Rich on a wideband means rich, Missfires show as lean due to extra oxygen.
Did you try starting fluid?
Yea i was figuring some type of valve on a hose. I gotta decide if im leaving it in its current position then i can drill a hole in the proper spot and weld on a nipple at the proper angle.
I really need to drill out my valve covers for 1/2NPT ports. Under extended heavy boosting im spitting...
For anyone using a Prosport non premium gauge, What temps are you reading? What temperature thermostat are you using?
I installed a Prosport non premium gauge and my readings seem to be 20-30F lower then my standalone reads with the sensors 1 inch apart both pre-thermostat.
I moved the sensor...
Well intercooler is in. After driving around it seems to work VERY well!
I also took it upon myself to use my new welder to make a catch can because i was tired of oil vapor making a mess.
Ill put a drain on it when i figure out its permanent location and how i want to...
Not to defend the product or the company as i also do not like the way the product is represented nor do i like any of the testing BUT, There can be pressure in the intercooler pipes without the engine seeing boost. If the throttle body is closed, or open at a small angle it will cause a...
Wire is in there too, Crazy stuff. If i had a lot of money i would have so many cool things that i probably didn't even know existed until my money (or Supra Mania) led me to them.
