Yeah too many things to add into the equasion. On stock everything twins I made 310whp with nothing but boost (18 psi) and open downpipe. Automatic tranny.
Have you ever drove a stock twin car on 18psi? You won't think it's pointless. At 4krpm it's a tire smoke machine.
Reaper, I had another friend do the same thing, but stock injectors at 20psi. An injector failed and melted #5.
Yup, it's a great replacement for the twins for reliability. Also if the lines are made long enough, you won't have to buy double when you upgrade to a performance single and manifold in the future.
GT4067R is one of the most famous turbos to be ever put on a 2JZGTE. It works just as great on a 1JZGTE.

530whp being conservitive with...
I won't be adding extra clutches, just replacing the stocks with Raybestos Blue's like most places do. Like i said, nothing serious.. but it should hold 600whp for a while.
I'm running a 65mm turbo.. drives just fine.
If you want a solid 600whp without crazy boost, you'll need at least a 67mm. If you got the flow, get a GT4067R. If you dont, get a ITS GT67.
If you want to try and do it on pump gas, check out the PT72GTS
