installed Invidia RS-R straight through 3inch exhaust with custom 3inch dump pipe. Stock exhaust was quite restrictive + this gives it a nice deep growl as well :)
Difference between 3inch and stock exhaust diameter :
installing the new turbo next week
got the exhaust all setup , took some time as it was not bolt on at all and just a matter of swapping the flanges,it simply wasn't long enough. Had to weld an extra length of pipe , completely custom to connect to the turbo elbow.
very similar problem
happened right after I did my first oil change after my rebuild - only 1500km on the engine
white smoke only on idle and only when warm
checked absolutely everything , drove me mad ....after checking everything, doing compression tests etc I found that the comp tests...
i LOVE bolt on parts , just that the term is used VERY loosely and im not tryna get it on a stock downpipe , i have the 3inch downpipe that came with the RS-R exhaust , i was trying to get it onto the turbo elbow(which granted, was equally stupid)
yes they sell them , this is what I was...
no they are way off. is the stock 2.5 inch ? the downpipe seems to be 2.5inch. Isnt there a universal flange or would i need to go through the trouble of cutting of the stock exhaust flange and welding it to my new downpipe?
will get pics asap
Ok so I managed to get my hands on a 3" Invidia RS-R exhaust for a very good price. The price was so good in fact that I didnt even have the time to see if it bolts up correctly and just snapped it up as others wanted to buy it as well.(it used to be on a 7m though)
I pulled off my stock...
"bolt on" my fat black ass.
Youd think SOMEONE would be able to produce bolt on shit by now , all we get is half promises. I swear the next time I buy ANYTHING that says bolt on , and I have to modify ANYTHING, Im going to fucking snap.
Unknown km's which makes the decision tough.
Also model sticker isnt there so im not sure what model these are , can anybody tell?
Still $540 for Teins incl postage seems to be like a good deal....
this OR pay $300 more and get Megan EZ Streets for AU$840?
Hey guys
So thinking of buying a ct26c that apparently is larger (and rare) and can flow up to 20psi.
Where are these from? Can they really flow that much and are they rare? Guy is asking $500 for it , in used decent condition.
Are they ceramic or steel wheeled?
any info much...
whats the diameter of the stock ct26 exhaust wheel?
i want to buy a high flowed ct26 from a 3sgte , just want to use my exhaust housing from my 7m but I have to make sure the exhaust wheel diameter hasnt changed
