random ? yes. shes just too damn fine.....
Yes Ive heard that its better to keep the stock fan as it doesnt free up much hp removing it anyway and more often then not offers inferior cooling performance
sorry I meant to say "high flow" thermostat, purchased this one here ...
im replacing my theromstat with a high temp one , ordered and on the way
yes I have the oem fan shroud fitted to the rad but because of the radiator size(yes its overkill but i wanted to be sure) the shroud had to be cut
I will check my AC condenser this weekend to make sure its clean
thanks...
I can , been thinking about this as I cant seem to get a new one. Apparently its really easy , il just have to pick up some silicone oil for toyota)
Yes I have an upgraded radiator , not sure of brand and type , but it definetly does the job. I have upgraded internal parts but certainly dont...

isnt that overkill
if using thermos , what size would you guys reccommend? 8' , 10' , 12 ' or 14'? I know the bigger the better but I want the fans to fit snugly in my engine bay
ah ha! excellently explained. The power difference is negligible but you have more control , sounds better and looks cleaner.
I really have far to much to do on my car to much around with aftermarket fans, so if there is bolt on electric fans and i cant find a clutch fan in Australia then I may...
ive heard replacing them with thermo fans are much better as the fan clutch robs power from the engine
I then recently heard that the power that the fan clutch takes form the engine is negligible and really isnt worth the cost and effort it takes to install the shroud and thermo fans as the...
thanks for all the help guys , needed that part number! Shoulda check the TSRM before i posted ...sorry ...
Cant really buy from US shops as shipping to Sydney will kill me , same for buying of the forums here.
Also want to buy a brand new one .There used to be a single guy in Australia that...
Hey guys looking for a 7MGTE fan clutch brand new as my car is starting to overheat in traffic.
Whats the OEM part number ? Tried toyodiy.com but they dont seem to have the fan clutch itself there.
Also , I'm aware that the 7MGTE had a greater number of fan blades then the 7MGE but was the...
yuck.did not think the saw blades could look worse then they already did. If you cant afford rims , do what I did and paint them black to hide your shame until you can :)
yeah ive had that before but the only thing I added on was the TRD sign up the top. The 3.0L turbo was there (replaced it with a better one) and of course supra was there as well(just brightened it up a bit), so its just one added badge. Granted I will never add another badge to the car , either...
what questions am I asking? i merely posted up pics of the exhaust that is now fitted? get over it or gtfo
and in response to ur question previously , yes it is stroked.
this is what the dickhead who sold it to me told me. Flange looked very similar , bought stuff from him before, thought I could trust him without actually test fitting it .Even paid a little bit extra(was still a good price though) since it was absolutely "bolt on" since he told me he had it on...
i knew it was 1jz as many people saw the flange and told me it was a jz flange. no one said anything about it not being long enough...in any case , welding was done , price was good and the car sounds much better :)
