Yeah I feel you. I am picking up some 18x9.5 +35 all the way around. They have got super stretched tires IMO, but those will have to stay until I can afford some wider tires.
Thanks a bunch. This is a side question, but this is something that makes me curious. If I go with this width of tire up front, how bad will the car follow the lines of the road? I have heard that it can happen but don't have much experience with it. The supra is heavier, so I was wondering if...
I would have to agree. I am sure this is partially directed at me, however in none of the preceding pages did I see a question about the fitment I asked about. I did see the measuring and offset calculator posted, and I guess I just need to stop being lazy and check it out. Time to do some...
Will 18 x 9.5 + 35 all the way around fit? If so, what tires out front and what tires out back? Not looking for super stretched and willing to roll. Sorry for my numerous questions on this topic
I would check out the NRP pistons. Two places I know of where they are sold is ebay and Driftmotion.com. Both have the piston set for the 7mgte and the ring set. I have heard several times that they are the same (manufacturer) as the stock pistons. I can not verify this, but maybe someone else...
so what setup do you have in the front? I love this stance. Looks great. Any camber etc? Just trying to figure out how you put such large tires without rubbing. Looks beautiful btw
Hmm I take it no one has run a 10" wide tire up front without rubbing/extensive fender modification? I know I am asking the same question again, but I am quite curious.
So what would be needed to make the 10" in the front fit nicely? IE what offset, camber, and roll fenders? Thanks again. This is really helpful, and right along the lines of where I want to go.
Are you guys referring to the glue/sealant you guys use for the trim? Or to what you would use in order to seal the bolts holding the bottom piece of trim on ?
An inch? Are you confident that a Roll alone will make these fit? I am looking to get a wheel and tire set up similar to this for traction / performance / look.
Do you have any pics of the front from say straight on or over the fenders to see how much it sticks out both in front and rear? This...
Yeah that sounds like a pretty easy fix, never removed that piece of trim before but I may just try that, because mine leaks too and it is quite annoying.
Hmm I think he meant lower trim on the hatch glass, because that seems more likely to leak into the plastic cover than the body trim with lettering on it. I could be wrong though...
Yeah, I used the stock 91+ door panels for mine because I was hoping that retaining the box would also help to retain some of the bass rather than just having it open air. May not make any difference, but hopefully it will sound good. I also got the tweeter in the stock location. I also am not...
