Hmm Idk about the stock gauge reading zero at hot idle, both before and after rebuild mine never did that. But idk for sure so yeah... lol just my experience

I would recommend getting a oil pressure tester, and threading it into the block where the stock oil pressure sending unit is, so that you can get a more accurate reading. This will let you know what is going on, This page in the TSRM tells you exactly what specs should be for s stock system...

Yeah I agree, I got it so that its above the bumper, but the intercooler is so damn large because of that lower port like you mentioned.

LOL exactly. I just took it for a test drive, and I definitely had an unknown leak in my stock intercooler piping, couldn' t hear it but I guess it was only leaking under boost so it wouldnt build boost as high as it should have. However this fixed all that! I'm very satisfied after install...

hha neither was I but I purchased it a while back, and from what it seems alot of kits with large intercoolers will require some relocation. I know some of the pricier ones that do require relocation include brackets though. That would make it MUCH easier.

please do.. I ouldnt get mine to sit up there far enough so that it doesnt hang below the bumper. And yeah both need to be relocated as you said. But for some odd reason, the lower bend will hang below my bumper (91 with oem front lip).
