i put 7MGE internals into a 7MGTE block with MHG and ARP headstuds and it rocks...fuel will end up being a major issue as the 7MGE has smaller injectors.Luckily everything is GTE on mine except the internals and head.

This is what I used for ARP headstuds: Kobalt 3/8" drive 14mm 12 point socket. Worked perfect and can be picked up at Lowes. Mine cost like $4.00.

Do the valve covers have the screws in them? If so replace the screws with 10mm bolts I believe and that should fix it. Mine did the same thing when I rebuilt the motor.

My N/A did the same thing and it turned out to be the fuel pressure sending relay (think thats what its called anyway) It's located on the passenger side next to the strut assembly. It's a little yellow plug.

Will the '86.5 - '88 square engine mounts work with '89+ round ones?
