I would say the first mod you should apply is the driver mod. Learn to drive the Supra first. I do not know how old you or, or whether or not you have a license if you are indeed that young. All I am saying is that the better you can drive the longer the car will last you.
"Go fix the rust." What does he do to fix the rust? Certainly no one just fixes rust. What, are you saying he should go out right now, spend 1k+ and have it done right, oh right when he bought the car and just might not have much money right now? It's more then fine to to the guy that the...
So what is the status on these sleeves I need? I am now without a car. I knew I would be, but I figured 4 months was WAY more then enough time to get my parts and my Supra back together. I hope I can get rides to work everyday until I get these parts. I am also having no luck contacting...
Appears to me that is more of an art form than a crash. Please guys, there is not even glass on the ground and there would be given how the two cars would have had to collide.
Heh, what do you think the fluid is for? Just lubrication? No, you need those lines hooked up correctly as there is a hydraulic cylinder in the rack which is the whole means of power steering. So one line is a return line and one an input line.
Yes, I work at a forklift shop so I have free access to a variety of grease fittings which will be put on ever arm. I also used grease fittings on the sway bar bushings.
Sounds like you friend is an ASE certified wrench turner. Seriously, he is certified to work on cars, to know how to fix them, not how to tune them or design performance parts.
The front and rear upper "a-arms" do not need the sleeves? Then yeah, I just need the rear lower arm sleeves. Sweet, I guess I can press the uppers in today.
Ronnie, what is the word on these? Do you make the other bushings sleeves that I do need? If you have not before, can you make them now? I am DIEING to get my car on the road and all I need are these sleeves.
Sounds like your rings are bad, do a wet and dry compression test. That will tell you for sure. If you ain't leakin it you are burning it, valve seals leaking will burn oil, but excessive blow-by and oil consumption of the rate you speak of is likely the rings.
I doubt i'd ever replace just bearings on a 100k+ mile engine. Nothing short of a full rebuild if there is a bottom-end issue. It just does not make sense to do all that work to replace just bearings...
Maybe you should be thinking about what the best place to learn about intercoolers is first. That said, after reading your post I can assume you have no plans for buying a core and welding on your own endtanks. I would say go to either AAP motorsports or 935 motorsports as they should sell...
I do not beleive it's possible to have perfect compression and a bent rod. Just my thoughts though. I would rebuild your current engine if I were you, but build it right, put in forged pistons ya know things of that sort.
There are only 4 bushing sleeves? Those are the 4 I do not need, as I pressed out all the other bushings. Do not even suggest that I use the pressed out ones as literally everyone has said that to me. You know, this is very irritating. I know this problem is largely due to communication...
Ronnie, if you are reading this I have been trying for over 2 months to obtain the outer bushing sleeves for my set of polyurethane bushings you make from SupraSport. I call SupraSport everyday and this whole while they have said they have yet to receive them from you. That seems kinda shady...
The Type S does vent to atmosphere. No, no kits available for recirc in our cars, mine runs fine venting to the atmosphere. However if you do want it recirculated I suggest going to Napa or the likes and experimenting with different hose sizes. The port on the BOV is larger than the port in...
