Probably not. I have been trying to make every local meet, but something always comes up. The only two local guys that I know personally are Jayson (idealsupra) and Mark (rakersan).
The car looks slightly different cause I no longer have the wheels on it. Jake owns them now or well did...
I'll let you know it gets a little closer to that time. I might be able to have the 1UZ in a running by then, but most likely without the turbos. Either way, if I can get it in an running by then, then I'll be there.
Yeah, you should be able to make a lot more then 350rwhp @ 15psi. When I was N/A-T, @10psi I hit 341rwhp the only advantage that I had was that it was full standalone so I had more control of fuel and timing.
Yes, FD RX-7's have the same reverse position as the R154 and the W58. Now whether or not the internal travel and angle is the same for all positions, I have no idea.
I am wondering if there is some form of adjustment that can be made internally on the shifter assembly.
Based on what can be seen in the picture, It will be fine. My old one was broke worse then that and was fine. As lond as no part of the break extends into the O-ring area and beyond then you'll be fine.
Im using the LC-1 and XD-16 along with other MTS devices for a complete log chain. Very happy with the Innovate productes. Very easy to wire and install (although the setup for the logging chain was a little hard to understant at first due to so many different option).
To answer your last...
Id see if you can get them in a different offset mainly in the front. A 20mm offset in the front is going to cause tire to fender lip clearance issues. The other thing is find out how heavy they are. They look nice (for a knock off), but I'll bet that they are heavy as sin and not worth it when...
Damn, and I though that the 1UZ stuff was going to be tight.
Why not look it some block hugger headers for it. Should open up some room and add a tad bit more performance. Or custom one's.
That makes no sense cause the line is only on the driver side. It leaves the M/C goes behind the brake booster, then turns down the firewall and in the trans tunnel down to an attaching bracket there the flexable line attaches and links over to the slave cylinder. Unless the leak is under enough...
Hit up a local ACE hardware if you have one near you and get a button head cap screw for the pinch bolt. This will can you back clearance and not have to grind anything and uses an allen key for tooling.
A agree, but I would like to see proof from the manufactures before it goes there. I find it hard to beleave that some like Suspension technics and Tokico would use a softer rate then stock and yet lower the car. Thats asking for something to bottom out IMHO.
Yeah, you could do that but again, more hassle then its worth. The stock manifolds are not cast. They are regular old mild steel with a stainless flange ring and mild flanges. The flanges actuall float (not welded) on the manifold.. Still much easier to start with a blank flange and a box of...
Nash, yeah something of that nature could be done, but they have to have a section cut on remade cause you can only turn them one way and the outlet faces down in the front which interfers with the A/C compressor on one side and the ALT. on the other. The other problem is that they are so poorly...
I've thought about the S&S headers, but dont want to spend the money only to find out that they dont fit... I talked with the guys at S&S and they said that they might fit and if they didn't that there wouldn't be a problem with returning them as long as they are still in NEW condition. To much...
Dont bother with any aftermarket coolers. Hit up a salvage yard and get a 2nd gen (86-92) RX-7 factory oil cooler (One of the best coolers availible). A lot of people think that how could it being a OEM installed parts could be better then an aftermarket unit, well here is why it is. On a rotary...
