Yeah they called the GT4/Alltrac a Supra. I was like "oh no u di'int"
The Supra wasnt always 89+. Some scenes had the pre89 front.
I found it because I found IMCdb.com or whatever and was looking at what TV/movies the MkIII was in
Even with a friend, its REALLY hard to get ALL of the air out. I had trouble when I was pumping and the shop foreman was bleeding it..although it was an ABS vehicle which mightve had something to do with it.
On a related note, does anyone know if on our cars, with the ABS computer unplugged...
I searched first and couldnt find anything. I figured it was discussed
I'm about 1/6th of the way through the movie, and thus far it hasnt had all of the bullshit hollywood misinformation about cars I was expecting. I'm surprised.
Half-way through now. Cheesy factor is "Cheetos dangerously...
Wtf? Apparently its a F&F knock-off German made-for-TV movie..
But it does have a seriously riced out MkIII in it, and quite often. Here's a Youtoob trailer:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ISqueosPMyo
And since it was never released outside of Spain and Germany...
HAH! Who said that?! I'm assuming you're running over 10psi...even if you werent, some sort of bypass valve is extremely important for turbo longevity.
Anyways, I know how to tell on a compressor map when you'd need one...but otherwise...I'm curious as to how to see if you need one.
Update is rather late. I did the valve cover gaskets a bit less than week ago. Using the 22XX bolt/nut/washer set, I replaced all of the philips screws with "cap screws" aka hex bolts. I tapped out all of the holes first, then replaced the old bolts with new zinc coated ones as well as lock...
I may have lost an IQ point from that.
My attempt at correcting is: "I'm going to run Kumho Ecsta Supra 712s because I am broke!:kaboom:"
712s are no longer made. The SPT was made in its place.
:nono: runner length just moves where the power is basically...you can make 750 HP on the factory one..
With a targa and/or windows down, its tolerable at best, but if it rains it gets extremely humid/hot in the car. I'm definitely fixing the A/C among other things
BFG KDW2s are awesome in pretty much all aspects. I didnt have the money for them on my DD so I went for the g-Force sports. I'm VERY happy with them and plan on putting them on the Supra as well.
They are only ugly in pictures IMO.
F1 cars all seem to use Enkei RPF1s (double 6 spoke). Occasionally I've seen OZ racing in its place; BBS a LOT in most non-F1 races (ALMS, GT, etc.)
I have the stock 88 three spoke ugly, but one day I'll get a steering wheel from a 2000s or so Toyota. The Celica, Matrix, Corolla, Camry etc. has a real nice looking one, and according to some dude on SF long ago (with pics), itll bolt up.
I'm just saying its improper to say "take a number and times it by two"
I didnt even do that in 3rd grade when everyone else was..
I will say you should stay in school on an unrelated note. Its worth the debt.
I think its fucking awesome that you went ahead and did it. Actually going through with something and finishing it is rare in these parts! Also, I dont go to SF anymore on purpose.
I believe it, but I personally dont care as I have a Red Mica car with a black hood and damage here and there from keeping it in the garage and mom scraping it up. Its pretty bad. Whats important to me is it running as well as it can
