    Glasspack Muffler?

^^^^ they can perform just fine, because the system is 'straight through'. They just bring the noise down, because the fiberglass 'absorbs' the sound 'waves'. I run a 24" long one in the system right under my console. Then a magnaflow 'strait through' muffler at the back. So my system is...

    Tranny Cooler Questions

You don't really need to get a HUGE one. I put one on mine. I researched it out for a while first. I went with one that is like 5"x12"x3/4". But...it has those 'swirls-the-oil' inside the tubes. This one...

It feels like my left rear tire is dragging

Well...your brake caliper may be hanging up and causing a brake drag. A brake and alignment shop can check it, and the alignment. I happened to look at my back wheels one day when I was walking to my car, and noticed the drivers side rear wheel was leaning in at the top of the tire. It turned...

    help with part number

^^^^ I have great desire to help keep all the supra mk3's on the road as possible. 1) because I enjoy mine soooo much, 2) I like it when I see another one go by, 3) it will help keep the aftermarket parts manufacturers making parts, so when I need something, it will be there.

    Starting... on a hill??

Not enough info to really give advice. Possible fuel low pressure. Low fuel in tank. Crap in tank plugging the pickup.

Amsoil claims you don't need any additive with their diff oil. PS. I've been using Amsoil for 2 years with no problems.

    Emissions!!!!! FAILED!!!

02 sensor is the MAIN fuel mixture input to the computer. Get a new one, today. They are pretty cheap from any parts house ($40-80). Bosch is very common, and work just fine. HC is high because of the high CO. It will come down. The NOx is fine now, because it is running sooo....rich...

    Coolant Question

I don't believe I've ever seen a schematic of the passages in the engine, but the TSRM, under 'cooling system' has a diagram of the outside ones. http://www.cygnusx1.net/supra/library/TSRM/

    Heater and AC not working

^^^^ I used a new wire. It was stainless safety wire from the motorcylce shop. I just curled it around like the others and soldered it in. Use resin core solder.:biglaugh:

    A/C issues

What year car? Turbo ? I will look at my '89 n/a tomorrow and see what I can come up with. I am a tech, and have done a/c work on/off for 20 years. The 2 switches on the high pressure line along the passenger side frame do this: 1 completes the circuit for the little fans to come on...

what is the FUNNEST thing you have ever done in your supra

Well, I guess I'm pretty lucky when it comes to fun times in a car. I live in the Mojave desert in Calif. Wide open raods to go as fast as I want. Mts nearby to blast those curves. 1 1/2 hrs to the ocean for scenic drives. Friends up and down the state to go visit. Vegas only 3hrs away...

    Window Trim

quote da89sup....but around the rear hatch I was told from toyota that they no longer produce those parts. I got them 2 years ago. But...maybe they are running out of parts for our "near collector cars". hee.hee :)

    broken power steering valve...

^^ right. It is there to keep the idle at spec (650-750rpm) when turning the steering wheel while stopped at idle. The connection to the intake air duct is to get filtered air, because it is actually an air bleed directly into the throttle body, which is why it raises the idle. I would...

    Head bolts out buuut

You'll still have to get those 14mm allen bolts out to get the #3 gasket off. It would be easier while on the car, cause the head will be held tight. Did you try a 1/2" drive allen socket and a breaker bar?? Perhaps an impact gun will do it, before or after the head is off.

    Oil Drain Plug

I did a stupid thing to mine, so don't you people do it. Oh, you want to know what it was?.. I started the bolt, then just "tapped it on" with my impact gun. I figured it would be ok, since I just pulled the trigger and let right off quick. BAD IDEA !! Apparently, inside the pan...
