why didnt you go with a big lift cam? last time i checked ur were trying to get a cam in the .500 lift...

you think im going to need to go to a shimless buckets with 10 mm, or keeping the stock base circle and stock buckets???

@ 50 , the car has a th350 trans with a PI 3500stall

ok i was on the phone with web camshafts and they can make a set for with the .400 lift they could go more but im going to run into some clearance problems, they could also reduce some of the base circle to avoid clearance problems. the set is going to run me about $750 and the duration is going...

so thats what i need to be able to use lash caps ? where can i get a set from ?

where can i get a set of the shim under buckets from ? can you get them ? you really think 10 mm lift would need clearancing of the head... thanks

yeah thats the flow with the stock valves, i now have + 1.5 mm valves should improve the flow :biglaugh:

cool, thats good to know , i also know of one more member that is running a 9.5 lift cam that web camshaft made with no problems. i'm trying to find out if i can get a 10mm cam to work with stock buckets and with out running into a problem

what im trying to findout is if i get my stock welded and take some out of the base circle also, can i get the lift in the 10mm or more ??
