oh man that's funny because after i pooped my head off i realized the rear coolant hose was still on....d'oh! try an engine hoist on the head, that should get er off real quick (don't forget to triple check for remaining bolts as stated by others)
I was photographing a drift event in portland when it started to rain a little. The whole course was wet so I thought now is the best time to try out the old white beast without completely trashing the tires. Of course by the time I was up the pavement had dried out, d'oh! I spun out 2 or 3...
i posted a link to my step by step, that looks like a really cool light setup but i went low-tech on mine. $14 all said and done.
also, i didn't know you could pop the lenses out. any more info on how to do this without screwing everything up?
I just tried 3 more times to get it sealed, on the last try i put plenty of RTV on both sides of the gasket and when I turn the hose on it still pours in. My light must be busted, because i tightened the other side a little more and it seals fine now. d'oh!

Ok here's some daytime pics. The only parts that are out of round are where the glue has seeped onto the inside (messy me) so I'll do my best tonight to get that cleaned up. I think I'm going to put the amber parts back in so I can get as close to s5 tails as I can ;)
i'll take pics today in the daylight and after i clean up the circle edges, in the meantime here's the writeup

the actual difference (besides the obvious) is that bolts turn into the head as you torque them and the studs don't. Torque readings are supposed to be more accurate on studs because they don't have to deal with the friction of turning the whole deal

Right now i have a cheap kenwood mp3 playing deck with 1 set of 2V preamp outs. My 4" door stockers are almost completely blown and they sound like ass :3d_frown: Soon I will have a set of decent 5.5's waiting to go in plus a nice polk 12" sub, and here comes the amp question. Assuming the amp...
