Miller's is a reputable machine shop that's been in business for years. It's on Grissom about a 1/4mile away from Bandera. You should get yourself a daily beater when modding a MKIII. Good luck.

    Which engine?

1uz. Smaller displacement, lower hp/tq to start with, and very little aftermarket support. Most performance upgrade you'll do will be one off = $$$. So what have you decided to do? Which engine will you go with?

    Which engine?

I found ls1 complete change out w/accessories and 6 speed trans for $4070 and under at car-part.com. Some come with harness and ECU too. They also have lq9 w/aod for around $2100.

    Which engine?

Oh snap, and I just read your Sig too... it's on like donkey Kong sucka! OP, on a serious note if you can afford to go 2j do it. I haven't heard one complaint, or a single regret from doing so. I'd even consider running a 2jzge with 7m electronics.

Ok, I plugged the lex afm back in. Messed with the afm adjustment screw and adjusted the afpr accordingly. My idle is once again rock solid with 15.3afr and 3.5v fuel trim displayed on the voltmeter. So it is my map ecu fuel table that needs work. They say the hardest part using the map ecu...

Oh, and I took out my front seat when I did this. I'm not flexible, and have a little girth going on. That made it a lot easier for me.

1988 toyota supra 7MGTE various issues...

Compression or leak down test can rule out worn piston rings. Changing valve stem seals isn't rocket science either. I wouldn't go and sell it right away. While you're waiting for your new AFM, I would take off all of the intercooler piping and inspect those for any cracks, tears, rips, etc.

1988 toyota supra 7MGTE various issues...

When do you notice the blue smoke? Idle, cruising, accelerating, decelerating, all the time? PO was probably an electrical genius and disconnected the check engine light because it annoyed him. I'm an electrical dummy, so I couldn't help you in that department.

Thanks David. I'm going to try some of the other nut and bolt specialty stores. If I can't find them there then I'll get them from dealership. I'm not in a hurry. I have another issue on hand. My idle isn't steady, it bogs here and there and dies from time to time. I didn't notice this...

I know a guy that would come over and unload all the metal you have. He collects scrap metal and sells it to the recyclers.
