Annular? If by that you mean a hydraulic throw-out bearing centered around the input shaft, then yes. Are Duane and Ron using one from a T56?
The engine is an LS6 with a Tremec T56 6-speed. There is plenty of room under the hood, but likely not enough for a truck intake. Also, the truck...
I have tried to bleed my clutch system on my LS6 setup. I have all of the air out of the system but I do not get very good pedal. I am beginning to think the master cylinder of the Supra is too small. Are there any direct swaps to larger master cylinders? Perhaps a Toyota truck/SUV?
trick question? I'll give you a hint. I have an all aluminum V8, I also have an 88- spoiler. I however do not have a front bumper at all, never have I had an 89+ front bumper.
I "double-clutch" most every downshift. When I re-engage the clutch I just let it go fast and the majority of the time the engagement is perfectly smooth. Now, I have been driving my V6 mustang since my Supra is not driving. I double clutch up-shifts aon my Mustang often, they have shitty...
He is probably talking about the hose going from the block to the valve cover for the PCV system... Google "Supra TSRM". Click on the site that has "cygnus" in the name. Then navigate to the EPC and find whatever part you are looking for.
Yeah it is some sort of inverted flare. I do beleive though I can find a fitting to work with use of a crush washer or stat-o-seal if I can just find the thread specs. 18mm is too big and 16mm is too small, never heard of a 17mm bolt. Maybe it has SAE 11/16 threads?
A 996? I was actually looking at a GSX-R 750 or 1000, or maybe an R1. My CBR has 85hp as is with 430lbs. I drove my friend's newer CBR600 with 105hp and similiar weight and though it is fast I want something faster and even 130hp I will outgrow. There is nothing like taking some curves with...
Updates have been scarce obviously. I have been making some progress. I just do not feel like going to work to work on trucks and then coming home to more work... Especially now that I have an 87 CBR600 to drive around. Too bad I have two vehicles to spend money on now, I already need a...
Is there a reason you think it is far forward? Not only is the shifter further back from the factory location as is. The engine cannot move further back without cutting out parts of the firewall/transmission tunnel. Also, it is not all that far forward. I beleive I measured from throttle...
