    FCD questions

Even if it is adjustable your ECU is set to activate fuel cut at a certain frequency given by your AFM. It called Frequency Out Max (fout max). It so happens that on my car that fout max is 2000Hz. Once I hit over that frequency FC happens. So if I had an adjustable FCD I could adjust it up to...

Supra + Faye = Love. My first build thread. (beware, picture heavy...)

You know Faye, I owe you an apology. After thinking about it Lord knows I can't throw the first stone. Back in my early 20's I was hell on wheels on public roads. I've even lost control of my car on a busy highway on the on ramp powershifting second gear and getting sideways all over the place...

I would have like to have gone, but I was out doing family stuff. Went to Sea World.

Exactly. Don't drive like a dick or asshole, make it public, and not expect any kind of backlash.

Supra + Faye = Love. My first build thread. (beware, picture heavy...)

Starting by taking your car to its limit on public roads with limited driving experience is not the way to do it.

I can drive on ice as well. Drive for a living as well. The last time the roads iced over we were still required to make it to work and drive. The only time we didn't work under icy conditions is when the city manager called our job and told to ground our fleet. But then it doesn't ice over here...

Well... I'm done. I won't be making it out to the December fun run this Saturday. I went nosing around with the wastegate to find out that the diaphragm inside is warped. It's allowing air to escape from the top port to the side port, and vice versa. That WG is done, and isn't regulating boost...

That's a steal of a deal on that truck. Too bad some low life tried to pull a hit and run. I glad I'm not the only one that hits "rich" fuel cut. At first I thought I was crazy that my car was hitting FC running rich, but then found out it is possible. Can't wait for dyno results.

I hear you on the cost issue, but don't for the other things that go along with a T4. Manifold, spacer(s), WG & dumptube, custom downpipe & intercooler hoses, oil feed & drain lines, intake pipe & filter, and other misc stuff that'll nickel and dime you.

T3rril, did they tell you why longevity is a bit of concern? They're not able to balance it correctly? Shaft too small for that wheel?

You're going to hear a lot of nay sayers that's ultimately going to change your mind about the 60-1 upgrade. The 60-1 is actually a better compressor wheel that will make power in it's sweet spot of it's efficiency island. I say get one, and make sure Albert gets it balanced damn near perfect...

    B&G Springs

Personally, I like the front rake look. I never did like the even drop. Looks like a car that has old tired sagged suspension all around. Different stroke for different folks.

Dilemma dilemma. I start to tune open loop only to find out that I'm still running 17psi. I thought that by taking off the manual boost controller I would run around 12psi assuming the WG spring was rated as such. Well, it's not. Now that I've turn the fuel pressure down it'll lean out at 17psi...

Ok, I did very little research and see that our ECU's have a frequency out max that will activate fuel cut. No matter which piggyback you use you'll have to work with that fout max to get around FCD. I'm just surprised that you're not hitting this fout max with your setup. I'm interested in...

I need to find out how maft pro (mp) works then. Do you still have any problems with fuel cut, or does mp take care of that completely? I'm running MAPECU speed density with borg warner 50mm turbo 526cc's @ 43.5psi. MAPECU simply simulates your afm signal. You have to manually enter in the...

Still running 550cc's? What fuel pressure are you running pushing that 62mm at 17psi? I'd imagine that turbo would outflow those injectors.
