I usually go on test and tune night. Weds & Fri because it's a little cheaper, and not as crowded. Drawback is the track isn't prepped as good as a weekend event. I'm off on weekends though. Oh wait... you calling me out Mr. 2J!? Seriously, would you be interested in running your car to get...

I've got my map ecu tuned pretty good so far. Good enough to put the drag radials back on and head out to the dragstrip. She what she'll do. Like mentioned before I'm running a smaller turbo & less boost so I don't expect to best my latest e.t.'s this time around. I'm hoping for low 13's though...

lol. I felt the same way the first few months of getting my car back on the road. I didn't want to drive more than 10miles in any one direction because that's how far my car insurance covers under towing. Generally they tow your car to the nearest qualified mechanic shop. I had them change it to...

Sounds like you're having a good time. How's the nightlife down in PR? Are you planning on experiencing that? You're young enough... I think. Live it up, and have a blast.

Sounds good. Still running the stock map & 440's? You should get a baseline of what it does in the 1/4 before modding. It's always interesting to see real track results from new mods. That's if you're into the dragstrip thing.

Sounds good. Let us know how it goes. I'm street tuning my car a little at a time. Mainly getting the closed loop squared away at this time. Open loop is good. Like I said before, tedious.

    '89 Turbo Supra build

Pull the gas tank down and have a look in there. Good time to replace that fuel filter while you're at it. Your car sat a little longer than mine and this is what my fuel pump and inside of my tank looked like. Good luck.

I don't have any experience with the safc. I'm assuming it very much like it only map ecu has a lot more tuning points. It just replaces your AFM, and you have to enter in all of the Hz values that the stock AFM used to supply the stock ECU. ECU makes fuel adjustment according to what Hz you...

    Turbonetics Tc76??

If it's a stupid good price, and it doesn't need a rebuild then get it. Try it, and post your findings about it. If you don't like it then sell it at a stupid good price to someone else, and recoup some of your money back. But yeah, 76mm with a .96 hotside sounds like it'll be laggy. And if...

Yeah, once I get it dialed in I want to see what she'll do. I'm only going to be running 12.5 psi though. But this time with a better wastegate, turbo, and map ecu. I'll see if it'll make a difference. Last time out I ran a best of 12.91 @ 108mph running 17psi on just the Lex AFM. I haven't ran...

sterlingae, I'm sure we're going to run a two stage system. Not sure what materials he's going to choose. Something that's going to last, and look good. Do you have a hook up on paint some place? What materials do you normally work with?

Easy enough to take off and have it tested. My car is back on the road. I installed the 12.1 springs on the WG, and so far it running a solid 12.5psi according to the map ecu. A little bit more tweaking the 'ole map ecu and it'll be good... enough for me.
