I'm with you on that one.
As far as the Honda, Infiniti and Volvo dealership group I was at - the service writers made diddly-squat compared to what a skilled mechanic could make.
Our Infiniti and Volvo guys were payed well, but I don't think any of them was making more than 50k. See my above...
Fresh kids out of UTI made about $12/hr doing lube @ the Volvo dealership I used to work at.
After they were done at UTI, if we hired them - it was @ $15/hr until they got ASE and Volvo certified. Once certified and doing good work they were bumped to ~$18-$22 hr.
From that point (this would...
What, you don't have anything better to do? :3d_frown:
Yeah, you right. I got sort of sick of people and their comments. I'd never rip on a guy just because their car wasn't my taste. I guess it just makes them assholes.
To each his own man, you don't have to be a prick about it.
this is a repost goddamn it!
I wish people would stop making fun of my car - I'm sick of it. I have put my blood, sweat and tears into it. It may not be your style - but that doesn't mean it's not nice. The interior is great (it looks a little strange in the pic - but it looks phenomenal...
I'll work on them.

If you want something specific done to the photos, just let me know.:

If there was a quick change in weather it could definitely cause cracking.
Improper mixture of bondo, primer, and paint (to a much lesser extent) and insufficient drying time before paint application could cause your issues.
It is far more likely for it to crack from some sort of impact...
I'm with you IJ, I used to do bodywork for a living - so I can certainly do just about anything in that area myself. More often than not, I find myself paying one of my old coworkers to do a side job for me. It's just not something that brings me enjoyment any more.
I also am very lucky...

Oh, don't get me wrong - I am not trying to say they are a bad company or anything like that.
Just relating personal experiences as well as those I have heard from others.
Greg was actually very nice to me. I bought a DP and after not getting any emails/calls/anything after a month, I...
