Seriously. Those engines are junk. 99% of the time they're not actually JDM imports. I ran into so much crap buying used 7Ms from those types. Stay away!

IJ: Those statements are true of ANY engine. I'm sure if I went out and drained every drop of oil out of my 1JZ, it would knock like a bitch and fail. I'm also not saying it's a "wonder motor." The first 1JZ that went into the car had a rod knock. Nothing is impossible.
