Be sure to check not only the battery side of the terminals but also the terminals on your wires too. Seen it too many times where someone's cleaned up the battery nicely but their wires are still all gunked up with corrosion.
I always wondered how the hell the stock O2 sensor lived so close to the turbo.....
Typical rule I've seen is minimum 18", it's safer further down. You're readings aren't going to change significantly if you've got it down the piping a fair way as long as you've got no exhaust leaks before the...
I was gonna say....with the Lexus AFM and everything running properly fuel cut is usually ~18psi IIRC. Did you check your codes to be sure it's a fuel cut code and not something else? Beyond that start looking for boost leaks.
Do you notice the small electric fans on the radiator staying on constantly or do they go off? I had a bad radiator and it had similar issues in warm weather, but not to the degree of moving the stock gauge up to 3/4. Stock gauge wouldn't budge on mine, but my autometer showed it would run up...
+1 for AEM dryflo. Avoid anything with an oiled filter, it will screw with the MAF over time. The "foam mushroom" type filters typically have poor filtration and some can start breaking down and you start sucking that crap through your engine.
Was going to say I thought was the stock digi dash but I wasn't 100% sure. Very clean and nice attention to detail. The intake manifold ceramic coated?
Been there and actually had the sense to realize that no, I don't have the money to keep going with this at this point in my life. Got the car back in to very good mechanical working condition and sold it hoping that someone else could enjoy it and fix the small things that were adding up that...
I've got a buddy with a 2J powered S13 as a track car. Needless to say....it hauls.
This....and why I linked it :icon_razz. If you are determined to use the MKIII chassis and working on reducing weight, that's about as good as you can get for reference. It will give you some real numbers of...
There are other aftermarket BOV's that you can get a recirc attachment for. I had a Blitz on my car that you could hear plenty well and it was recirculated. If you want the noise though don't go Bosch. The Bosch ones are quite quiet and don't give that distinctive "PSHHHHHHHHHH". Just be...
Check your grounds as well. Sometimes all you need is a good ground to the coil packs to get rid of that miss at idle. Easy enough to test if you have some spare wire as well, run it straight from the battery.
Walkthrough on replacing the stocker with a Bosch unit (with part numbers!). Hopefully it helps :)

Doesn't change the fact that it makes a big difference to the cooling capacity. I had mine without the shroud for a period of time as well and didn't have issues, but did notice it running much cooler (almost 10*F in the same conditions) when I put it back together properly. It's always better...
That and make sure all the shrouds/underbody paneling is in place. They make a HUGE difference in the cooling efficiency, directing the air through the radiator rather than just wherever it may want to go.
I'd trust an ebay turbo no further than I could throw it. Too much that can go wrong with something that needs a certain degree of precision in it's construction that can end in catastrophic failure. That and not to mention the fitment issues that come along with most. Honestly best bet is to...
The divorced downpipe relieves the exhaust side of the turbo of the nasty turbulence that is caused by an internal wastegate dumping in to the exhaust. Less turbulence = less restriction = exhaust wheel spins easier = more boost. Most people without the divorced downpipe and just a good 3"...
