ah.
so i totally forgot that i had an extra beatup targa in my basement. i took the whole fixture out of that and i'm gonna make that happen tonight when i go to work. i got around eight hours to myself to figit with this contraption im constructing.
thanks for the help anyways!
Just a quick question, what is the bolt size of the targa bolts. I'm in the process of making a sick camera mount that will be mounted in the targa bolt holes. That's four different position opportunities and a whole lotta angle opportunities:biglaugh:
i remember a spreadsheet type thing...
im not into the whole circle taillight cut out thing.
the blinker part of it is cool, its just something about those circle cutouts that are always bleh to me.
you mean carbon fiber hatch? most of it is glass anyway, but if you were to lighten that up, it would possibly negatively alter the weight distribution of the car being that there is like nothing in the back as compared to the front, in weight.
does anyone know what the gas milage reduction is with the targa down? i always wondered, but my odometer doesn't work so i could never try it. i believe it would have more of a impact on highway milage.
better gas milage? here's what you do.
-redesign your combustion chamber to fit a direct injection injector
-install high pressure pump and standalone
the stratified FSI injection in european audis run as lean as 60:1 in light load applications.
that sounds like some good gas milage.
wow, came loose? the only reason mine flew off is because it was never bolted down. i have a tendency of just layin it on top and then taking it off..
definetly.
yes. twice. first time a little hammer and paint fixed it right up. the second time, i had to grab a "new" one. hah.
only flew off cus of my stupidity.
speaking of targas and flex, i just found this on ebay. i wouldn't buy it, but just puttin it out there. guess i'll havta make one...
