Yes it would and that tube is easily bent so take care when taking out the switch. You need to have the system evacuated before removing it and preferably someplace that won't try to charge you for refilling it with the freon they just took out.

Yep...got bored. Check it: You can see how the factory sender for the aux fan kick-on fits nice and snug in there. It extends just enough to not interfere with the thermostat, but it's close. Any pics of the Spal sender??? Not that hard to do, either. Only took about five minutes!

Swap it out for a full face disk if you don't like it. It'll be a great way for you to get to know the Supra! Have fun with the starter bolts. Get someone with Toyota certified Ninja hands to help!

I have a newer one and it holds 14 psi just fine. No issues here!

What is the size thread you need? My Autometer gauge was only 1/8 NPT. The blank is fairly large and if you remove the thermostat housing first you can see exactly where you will be drilling. There are also thread reducers you could use, but it might keep the sensor farther away from the...

If you're looking for a spot to mount a sensor there is a blank spot on most cars right behind the thermostat housing cover and right above the factory gauge temp sensor. I drilled and tapped a hole there to mount my sensor for an Autometer water gauge. It might have something to do with...
