I'm not sure. I'll be talking to him tomorrow though and will try and find out. I know he located and bought a Mine's upgraded ECU that has the same Toyo part # as the ECU that came with the clip...
I've never heard of 15's stock either, but it makes sense that the GA70 may have had them to me. I guess I got a new wrinkle in my brain today.
Shaeff, thanks for the link! I should've known to check there, don't know what I was thinking, I've been looking every-damn-where else! lol! Looks...
Holy shit! Glad you're back at it, Brian. Keep us updated!!
Yonkers, I think Brian's planning to spin this a bit faster than the average 7m, so the extra powerband will should make up for every bit of lag. Speaking of spinning...I'm really anxious to see what the 7M crank can take. Hurry up...
More info...
Don't know if this will help or not b/c I'm still not too sure what you're trying to do...
I just installed an autometer tach and wired it to the existing tach wiring in my dash. After flipping a couple of the switches on the back of the tach it worked fine. I didn't really...
Thanks Matt, and glad to hear it got there! Now get that sucker on and please do take pics!
I'm really not sure what the intake piping is like on the 82. Doesn't it have a flapper door afm? We'd probably have to have the car here to do it though. Send me a link for the Rabid Chimp one, that...
Ok, thanks! This very well may work fine then. The i/c coupler is 5 inches to make for easy installation, so maybe it will just need to be a bit shorter. I still want to get ahold of an early Supra and test fit though.
I know that the i/c to throttle body piping is different, and what's different about it. However, I don't know what's different between the turbo to i/c piping. Could you be more specific, please? I have been making a lower hardpipe kit as I thought they were all the same there, if I need to...
I love my FAL's. If you do some digging you can find them for quite a bit cheaper than $360. I think the best price I've seen was about $275, but I can't remember where it was. Sorry I can't provide more usefull info.
God damn! You must've spent a heap on polishing!! Looks great Duane! I'm so glad to see that you've stuck with it and have it ready to go again. So, when are you bringing it down for that trans swap? lol!
Ok, so we've got 4 people who are seriously interested so far. That's a start!
Siman, my particular trans is fully built for drag racing so it shifts incredibly quickly, and incredibly firmly. At half throttle on the 1-2 shift it hits so hard my foot comes off the pedal for a moment, and the...
Bish, I thought it was the upper piping from the i/c to the tb that was different. Are both different? Anyone have pics of the early and late i/c side by side?
I have the CFX trailing arms on the back, and the Bilstein/Eibach combo. I never put the end links back there as I wanted to reinforce the tabs on the arms they mount to first, and have never had the time.
I'm getting ready to head to the Speed-Source shop now. I'll probably install the stock...
Well, my first street race with the new trans wasn't so good to me...neither was the second, or the third!
First race: I hit the line lock and heated the tires. Then hit the trans brake and built about 1-2 psi in an attempt to avoid lighting the tires. It didn't work. At the word go I let...
