Yeah, the KYBs are certainly a different looking stop. The KYB bumps fit REALLY tight on the shock piston.
And yeah... that damn rear trim. Very difficult to get those rears out without TEMS. I'm sure TEMS makes it even worse.
It looks like you're talking about bump stops. Are you using aftermarket shocks? If so, I'd use KYB bumps and boots. The OEM boot thing isn't really a boot and seems like it may not be compatible with all shocks.

A spade might work, but the oem terminal has a detent that helps lock onto the sensor. You'd probably be ok without it, but you'd risk them vibrating apart. It would suck to have it come off while driving. You wouldn't know if you just had catastrophic engine failure or a simple loose wire. And...

Those running lights would probably look awesome, but you'd have to be really careful to get it exactly right. That's one of those body mods that will probably look 100% awesome or obviously cheap and homemade and not really anywhere in between.

Holy crap man, that's impressive. Those wheels were really dated. The new ones go really really good with the blocky grill and really update it. Is that grill an order able part, or custom?
Sounds like you know what you need to do pretty well. You can build another 7M, but they are a bit more "finicky" than a 2JZ at higher power levels.
Despite the damage done to your existing motor, a 7M build would likely be far cheaper in the short run. I suppose that depends on exactly what...
