    Toyota FT-86 Thread.

It's a hard decision for me, the Subi engine that comes in the FT-86 is a serious, serious turn off. I love everything else, but the engine all but kills it for me. I wouldn't mind a new 5.0 Mustang if it wasn't for that archaic suspension. Yeah Ford said there going to give it IRS in coming...

Quick question about pulling an engine.

The previous post are some great advise. I'm not sure if it was covered in your previous thread but GrimJack made an excellent post concerning this topic. http://www.supramania.com/forums/showthread.php?t=423

    What do you think?

I'm ok with either one but my preference is for the old location because that Mexican place was pretty awesome. I just look forward to seeing everybody again this year.

OBD conversion to OBD II for carputer setup

The Super Monitor was an option on the 87-88 cars. It is a separate computer that plugs in to the main harness. And has a unique display incoperated in to the digital clock position. Most 87 and 88 have the plug incorporated into the harness even if they don't have the computer. The computer...

The Shed Is Locked. WTF Happened

I kinda figured something like this was on Ian mind, since he hasn't been saying much. And as much as I would hate to see him give up on his project, in the end it's just a car. If it's just causing frustration, and he is getting no joy from it, it makes little sense to keep pushing at it. He...

    2jz downpipe for mk3

I bought a piece of 1/4" flat stock from Home Depot for 8 bucks, took a grinder and drill to it and I was good to go with a little cut to fit exhaust gasket material. Then with some universal exhaust pipe bends and straights from Summit Racing I had to custom make mine.

    HELP!!!! which MKIII to keep?

So your being forced to do what she wants with your cars and the turn around and pay off her car. While I can understand not wanting to have a milllion and one cars setting around. You need to make decesiond for yourself, allowing her to dictate what you can and can't do is going to lead to a...

Beautiful car Dave, and a 2JZ no less. I was surprised when I saw your name as the initiator of this thread. I was expecting your next car to be a MKII. But this should hold you over very well in the mean time. :D

Anyone ever used the Driftmotion lightened pulley set for 1jz?

Reg Riemer, one of the true old school guys, and an honest expert on all things Toyota and Lexus. His is the one that came up with the calculations to do the Lex/550 mod. He made it pretty clear that it was a bad idea, he backed his position up with facts and physics straight for the Toyota...

    Shortening Shift Throw

If you actually do attempt this, you will undoubtedly find out why. Especially if you use CNC'd aluminum and lathed steel, like the current ones.
