If the clutch bolted down correctly and all the dowel pins from the flywheel went into the holes of the pressure plate then you will be fine.

The 1jz does not use an airflow meter. It runs a speed density setup via a map sensor. It is the same setup as a 2jz and the Mr2 which you should come across being a mechanic.

that has happened to me before. I ended up using a chain wrench to hold the crank pulley and a breaker bar with a huge pipe over it to crack it loose. You have to be carefull with the chain wrench because it is easy to damage the crank pulley ribs.

You should just buy Aarons car because it was done right and he can convert it to a 5spd. for you for cheap. It will save you a lot of headaches.

For sure buy the front clip because their are a lot of little things that you will need from it. Buying the clip makes things easier so you don't have to go and source for rare parts and you can have your car on the road sooner.

If you need flywheel bolts like you say, Driftmotion has a nice set of ARP flywheel bolts for a great price.:naughty:

Whats up guys, When I removed my 1jz from the front clip that I got, I found that the motor mounts are completely shot. Anyone know where I can score a set of 89+ round style mounts because I haven't been able to find them anywhere?

Just hook an inline switch up to the fuel pump relay, that way you can have it on when ever you want.

its the one that bolts under the bumper support and has a bunch of circular fins around the hardline.
