Ten years ago today... I became a first time Supra owner

I've owned a Supra continuously since April 2005, when I was 17 years old. I still don't miss the first one, but damn did that car teach me a lot.

    My 89 HKS Supra build

Buy it back! :D Really though, congrats on the Vette. It's a logical upgrade, and C6s are magnificent cars.

Why don't I follow more of your threads? You do things like, exactly how I would want them done.

How to obtain at most 300 Wheel Horse Power

I've run the Tanabe exhaust on all three of my Supras, and I absolutely love it. The sound is very low, smooth, and quiet. Sometimes, I actually wish it was a bit louder even. I'd take the Tanabe over the HKS (I have driven a car with the HKS before as well). They're approximately the same...

What are your favorite things about MKIII Supras?

MKIII Supra: They will always look good. The seats are the best.

    Operation Drive and Enjoy

I wonder if it's possible to transplant just the center trim section between the two...

    Operation Drive and Enjoy

Something to keep in mind: 89+ trim is a different style than pre-89 trim. If you install 89+ trim around the car and leave the pre-89 center panel, it'll look a little goofy. Are you planning on doing an 89+ tail light conversion?

What did you end up going with for shocks and springs? After my experience with the Tokicos in my red car (and my old blue car!), I've got $50 on those being the culprit. If you haven't purchased anything yet, my vote is OEM struts + the Eibachs you already have...or Konis if you're looking for...

Did my old Supra ever surface for sale ?

Wild. Never seen that car before, and I feel like I've been around for quite a while now.

Ken - you really should! I suppose since I've been bumped, let's do a quick update. In early August I went to an event at Brainerd International Raceway, called "Powercruise". Here are some pics and a highlight reel :) http://youtu.be/lEPjwnuBayo Unfortunately, just the other day, the...

    Emilio's NewRedSupra

I added some pictures to the previous post of the cruise control setup. I snapped some engine bay pics quick - I used a harness from Tweak'd performance. It's really fantastic quality, and was super easy to install.

    Emilio's NewRedSupra

I wouldn't hesitate at all if I were you. There are basically no quality coilover setups for MKIIIs out there anymore, and getting GC more business selling these kits would be absolutely fantastic. The ride is firmer than stock, for sure, but it doesn't "crash" over bumps like most coilover...

Task 2: Cruise Control. A huge thanks to Steve (toyotanos) for this one. He built a simple but very effective bracket for the throttle and cruise control cables. The steps were as follows: 1. Cut the ball off of an extra 7M throttle bracket and weld it to the cruise control bellcrank on the JZ...
