    2JZGTE swap won't boost

I'm not very familiar with the 2j setup, but the VSV's that are broken are likely the culprit. Could carefully remove the vacuum lines from the wastegate actuators and carefully monitor your boost levels. Or, best option, check the TSRM and see what it says about this. There should be a link...

    removing 2JZGTE harness

Shouldn't be difficult at all. What "shouldn't" be, and what "is" though, are often different things. Did you get the harness off yet?

1JZ Cam Options and discussion/opinions needed and wanted

Mine made 320whp on only 12psi, and when you set it to about 17, it is a whole different beast. A little bit of headwork goes a long way on these engines... The part I put in bold above? That's pretty funny Rocky. :D Jordan, I also have the BC264's, been running them daily for just shy of 3...

    Cup holder mod

Fair enough. I wouldn't want to take the chance of spilling a hot beverage in my car with the way I like to corner... Could always go for cocaine if you're in that much of a hurry in the morning. :p Oh, and as for bottles, they fit perfectly between your leg and the door, or the door and the...

    How hot is considered overheating?

Holy heatsoak Batman! Makes sense though, the more avenues you have to alleviating heat, then less is going to remain in the metal.

    TE37 rims help.?

Look at ARZ's white Supra, he has some bronze 18's on a white car, they look fantastic. IIRC, the setup was the FN01-RC wheels, 17 (18?) x 9.5, +35-40mm offset, with 275's all around.

I may be THE FIRST.... Nah, I can't be...

How does that even happen? The resistance from slicks and trying to move a 2000 lb car all fighting each other cause that much stress on the crank?

    Mk3 supra carrier Bearing

For things that aren't made by anyone else, their prices aren't always terrible. For example, the various shrouds. Given that you either have to fabricate them yourself, or buy from the dealership, I don't think their prices were all that unreasonable. OP, please keep this thread updated. A...

    catalytic converter sizing for 1jzgte

Do you care if it actually acts as a catalyst? If not, simply weld in a pipe that runs through a stock cat's shell. If you do, I would suggest running a cat that matches the size of the exhaust piping for simplicity's sake. :)

16" electric fan with mechanical shroud?

Figgie, do you happen to know the CFM of the stock fan setup in good condition? I've always been curious.

    Cool/Rare parts thread?

Noticed this too... Either way there is still a decent amount of heat that you would benefit from removing from the intake side too. Remember, all that compressed air is still pretty warm by the time it reaches the engine. ;) Pictures? Not sure I'm familiar with them. Are you looking to lock...

    Crashed The MK3 Today

Well, if you ever decide to revisit this thread Connor, I would also suggest the buy-back and part out. Probably too late anyway. :p

What did you do to your supra today? Pics

Doat, the HKS Sport exhaust sounds great, and has a nice, low profile. One of my favorites among the subtle setups. Another option would be to run a 3" back to a stock muffler, and dump it right before the muffler... My title said the car had something like 198k on it, but the odometer says...

HELP! im not sure what most of this stuff is or does?!?!?!

Sounds to me like it may be draining the battery. Do you have a way of testing the voltage? Might be a good place to start, would certainly suck to forget that switch and end up stranded somewhere... Also, wouldn't it be great if modified cars came with "Previous Owners Manuals"? :p You...

    weight reduction (plz be serious)

To address Jordan's points here... -I'm going to take the aluminum bumper out of my LS400 (it is a donor for the Chevy anyway, will be leftover), and use it in the Supra. Weight savings by replacing with lighter, yet equally strong parts. ;) -Stock exhaust is quite heavy. Get something like...

I was bored one sunday, then this happened. ( SUBWOOFERS in an MK3) Pics!!

Just a couple tips from my experiences: -For the license plate rattle, put rubber washers behind the plate and the body, should minimize rattle there. -To prevent easy theft, you have a few options, the more implemented, the better. 1.) What you can't see/hear, you don't want. 2.) Bolt down...
