    My first dyno today

What gear did you dyno in, 2nd? Very flat curve though, makes for a quick street car. :) On a related note, holy crap a lot of dyno posts this week...

    2 1JZ's on the dyno 1 single 1 twins

I'm curious about the black car, his peak number seemed to come in at a very low rpm. Does give credit to my theory that the stock twins choke the crap out of these motors around 5k... Otherwise, nice numbers. :)

After 5 years.First dyno and test drive (video)

Nice torque curve! Roughly 357 ft-lbs by my conversion, but starts nice and early... Looking forward to the future with this one. :)

    Supra on the Road Course

510's are badass. One of the reasons I've always liked that guy whose name I can't remember (edit: Adam Corolla) at the moment... he has at least a couple old BRE 510's, and they are awesome. Actually races them and drives them too! That makes sense with the coolant, that shit is slippery. At...

I was bored one sunday, then this happened. ( SUBWOOFERS in an MK3) Pics!!

These cars are quite solidly built. I had a single 10" of some sort in a nice box in my old 88 that I had. I'm more of a sound quality guy than overall volume guy, so a 10" suits my cars just fine. All depends on the song though, some frequencies just WORK with whatever setup you have. I...

    LSD Oil

Oh, and just in case you hadn't already done this, my best two pieces of advice here: -Remove the "fill" bolt first, and... -Use a 6-point socket. Trust me on this. Nobody likes to nearly strip the head on the fill bolt, with an empty diff. ;)

    Mk3 motion ratios.

LD, 1030kg? How do you even GET a Mk3 to drop that much weight? I mean, I'm all for efficiency and replacing parts with lighter, more compact parts, weight redistribution, etc, but still... I have a hard time seeing there being over 500kg to pull out of a car. Blowing my mind here man! :D

I might have the best recipe for M&C ever if you're interested. Pretty sure I shared it in the food thread a few years back...

    My Mosin Adventures

What did you find out? Was this after each round, or only the last one in the clip? If at the end, I would think that to be part of the design. If after ever round though... that seems strange to me. Just read your post again, it was after each round? Very strange... I thought they were...

1jz aftermarket oil pressure sender location. Intake or exaust side?

If I remember correctly, I ended up picking up an oil pressure sender socket for this job. Kinda an odd shape, but it worked like a charm, and in my area, finding a solution at the parts store is a bit of a blessing considering how difficult it can be to get odd sized tools around here... If...

    Hatch targa holders problem

Funny how its the simple things sometimes. Glad you got it figured out. :) For future reference, most parts for the interior have either an L or an R on them somewhere. Pretty self explanatory what that means. When in doubt, check the letter. ;)

    Exhaust head studs replacement

I don't think we have a tech section for this sort of thing, but if the mods see fit, they could sticky it. You could always link it in your signature with a short description of what the thread contains. ;) Feel like I was being dragged around by my feet in the video. :p I know it gets hot...

What did you do to your supra today? Pics

You know, not to be a negative nancy, but isn't lighting fires under your car a bad idea? I'd be concerned with melting something, or frying a brake/fuel line/wiring under the car... Anyway, I cleaned up my old suspension and wheels/tires yesterday. Tedious work, but they cleaned up pretty...

    another clutch kit question

I have this same setup, have been using it daily since around this time in 2010. I have not been especially nice to it, and it is only now starting to show signs of a worn disc. For what its worth, I'm putting out around 350whp (with the boost turned up a bit), I would suspect torque is probably...

I may be THE FIRST.... Nah, I can't be...

Buddy of mine who is a Mustang collector/hoarder seemed rather surprised that Supras came from the factory with a forged steel crank. I guess this is something fancy in the domestic world. That may be who said Tundra commercial is aimed at? As for the snap Ryan, I'm wondering what the #1...

    Supra on the Road Course

I like how you say "probably" be retired. Sayings like that tend to lead to spending "just a little" bit of money on cars you never thought you would spend money upgrading, and before you know it, you have a toaster on wheels keeping up with the best of them out on the auto-x. What...

    Mk3 motion ratios.

Err... 70kg springs? That isn't a typo? I mean, I'm not the biggest fan of body roll, but that seems like a spring rate you might find on a medium duty truck...

    92' Turbo Supra Suggestions

Should be easy to see once you get the engine flipped over (drain the oil first ;) ), and pull the pan off. Sometimes you get lucky and your bearings are a bit worn, other times you've screwed the pooch like my motor did. I think mine had spun (where the bearing halves basically overlap each...

    Supra on the Road Course

Dave... I've seen some shit in my time, but a Saturn Vue... on a track? You guys might be the only people in the history of the Saturn Vue to have ever done that. Surprised that thing didn't scrub for all its life. :p
