If you add the cost of the rebuild to the initial cost of the turbo, do you still think it's worth it? Or would you recommend spending a little more to get a turbo you don't have to worry about?
Yeah, no shit. I'd love to get my hands on one of these, but they're so damned rare and I just can't afford it. I did come across a totaled car with one once, they guy was selling the entire car, which had a lot of rare parts, for $1k, but it sold before I could get to it. Damned shame.
Yeah, I think CA is the only state that has those requirements. Even NY, which is quickly gaining on CA in regards to fewest individual right, let's you do whatever you want under the hood.
