How difficult is it to recirculate an aftermarket BOV? I know the stocker will only last for so long, and once you turn up the boost you're pretty much guaranteed to need a new one.

I know this is mentioned over and over, but I haven't been able to find an actual explanation as to the pros/cons between venting your BOV to atmo vs recirculating it. Can someone please explain this for me?

All the way on the bottom. The ball of the shifter should be sandwiched between the shifter seat and the plate that you bolt on top.

When I bought mine I found a handful of change and a nail trimmer in about 3/4" of water in the little compartment behind the shifter. We called it "change soup', and now call the compartment the "Soup Bowl". I also found that it had another BHG caused by a shitty fix of the first BHG.

Well I just talked to MC, they're gonna send me another one at no cost. If the new one doesn't fit, I'll try the sandpaper/WD40 route.

Yeah, reading that page will really help. I recommend printing the whole thing off and going through it with a red pen sometime, and taking notes. That's what I did, and I'm glad I did it.
