Targa people, would you be interested in...

I honestly think the do-luck style brace would be the best solution. Support along all three axes, pre-loaded with the double-threaded tensioner for strength, and it leaves the whole top open for maximum enjoyment.

Project "so I have this widebody..."

Just an infraction driving without insurance. They yanked my license a couple years ago, I found out, from a failure to appear that I never heard about...it's been taken care of, though. Just goes to show that if you want to drive fast, you've gotta keep the basics in check.

Project "so I have this widebody..."

I had a friend come by with proper frame measuring tools...cleaned the hell out of the subframes, and everything's in spec, except for the metal panel that attaches to the header panel. Which is really thin, and can be bent back into shape pretty easily. So, my shopping list looks like this...

    Hks 3mm head gasket

So that's the main reasoning behind adjustable cam gears? I hadn't thought of that. /threadjack OT: - Yes, lowering your compression ratio is a good idea to be tossing around when shooting for really big numbers. However, you're trading efficiency (torque per unit of fuel/RPM) for easier tuning...

The story of my Supra....My 2JZA70 supra!

Fantastic, gorgeous mk3...not a fan of the vortex generators, but the rest of the body/motor/interior more than makes up for it. The 2JZ looks like it belongs there, and everything seems to take the factory GT concept to new heights.

    The 87 Gay Blue Project

If you still have the leather interior bits, I might could take those off your hands. I like the shadow grey cloth, but leather FTMFW.

    The Mistress

I had never even thought about taking the top off...I always just folded the seat forward and propped my door wide open to get it out. And that b!tch is HEAVY, too. Black carpet looks really sharp, though. Been thinking about replacing mine for a while, but I have other repairs to make now. Did...

    BorHor's RHD 2JZ MK3 Build Thread.

Those rims. Can you get that size in a super negative offset? I need something that wide...my Supra has crazy widebody. That said, really nice build you have going on here...pretty much where I want to go with mine. Someone said something about bay area, too...whereabouts?

Project "so I have this widebody..."

So, I got it jacked up today, and started taking pictures. More tomorrow. Both sides of the rear...managed to ruin the lower control arm mount on the driver's side hub and break that toe (traction?) rod. Oh, and you can see the twisted end-link in the first photo, too. Close-ups of the damage...

Project "so I have this widebody..."

Still has a nice interior...I need to fill the door lock spaces and do something about the missing rear panel in the trunk and top of the hatch glass. Probably could use a shift and e-brake boot, too. The thing right now, is that to get it moving I need new control arms, tie rods, a couple...

Project "so I have this widebody..."

I'll probably take you up on that; both passenger side front control arms are fucked, either broken, bent or twisted. I may need the entire subframe...but the drivers side is fine, minus the rim. I managed to destroy an entire set of 91/92 5-spokes with a curb. Anyone have rear suspension parts...

You know you're a Supra owner when...

Project "so I have this widebody..."

She's back in my driveway now, hurt face and everything. It's sad, really, to see just how much damage I really did. I'm not even going to jack it up and check the undercarriage until later this week. I still need to let it sink in that I wrecked my baby, and that I will probably have to part...

Project "so I have this widebody..."

So, after talking to the cops that showed up and talking to my passenger, here is what I gather happened: I was doing around 25mph, went to turn right behind the Buick on a green light, Buick turned and stayed in the left lane afterwards, going rather slowly. I switched to the right hand lane...

Project "so I have this widebody..."

I was not ejected, both me and my passenger were strapped in. I meant that the car ended up like 20 yards away from it's last known position in space...not a scratch on either me or my friend. Kinda achy today, but nowhere near as bad as any other accident I've ever been in. I will hopefully be...

Looks like I'm not attending any meets anytime soon...just wrecked the Supra tonight. Post #101 in my build thread :(
