T61 Bolt on Turbo by Cx Racing

As far as quality and the reports here, noone's had any complaints. What hasn't really been answered is performance beyond 1bar...but that's really a matter of time more than anything else, I think. Turbo really looks promising, especially for a bolt-on affair. Yes, there are wastegate issues...

    CajunKenny's Build Thread

You can also pick up a reverse osmosis unit and make 50 gallons a day. Mine cost me $50...I use it to make pure water for my aquarium and snake habitats.

T61 Bolt on Turbo by Cx Racing

As am I. Sounds like a decent alternative to a CT26 60-1 upgrade...I just want a stockish looking snail that'll do 400-500 whp reliably. This seems to fit the bill really well, I may have to budget it into my build.

    Northbay lovin'

Yeah...plus, I'm out that way at least once a month to see my sister. Definitely gotta come party with you guys sometime. NorthBay is just...blah for car pride. Only time I ever get appreciative looks is in Napa, and even then it's only because they think it's a Lambo.

Project "so I have this widebody..."

Woo, finally got around to pulling the door apart and fishing through the wiring for the door solenoid! No more cracked windows and breaking in for me...pics! So, here's a better shot of just how well the solenoid tucks into the channel on the interior panel: ...hmm. I'll have to YouTube the...

    Northbay lovin'

Who's got a 707 area code? 510, 290 even? No, I mean really...haven't seen but a handful of folks around my area, and you all seem to be inactive. I'm trying to come out to meets, regularly. I know KBR Performance in Vallejo is a Supra specialist, but I just haven't seen many Supras beyond them...

The Official SM "What did you get for Christmas?" Thread

Boost gauge, metric sockets and drivers, wrenches, a new professor's cube (5x5x5 rubiks cube) and a visa gift card. Meanwhile, the real gift was seeing everyone I bought for get excited about theirs. Idk, I never get really excited about Christmas until the day of. Those dog packs are awesome...

    Exhaust system Thread.

What I mean is, it's not worth the cost/effort until you want to make tons of power. Plus, I can't think of any 4" turbo-back systems that will bolt or even weld to the stock ct26; turbine outlet is far too small and would cause the double expansion/turbulance mentioned before. Furthermore, it's...

    Exhaust system Thread.

It's probably the stock elbow doing it; in your sytem, exhaust gasses are expanding in two places now...once at the turbine (manifold -> 2.25) and again inside the downpipe (2.25 -> 3). Close proximity of the two is going to cause a sonic issue called a harmonic, where two sound waves of...

    Limequat's 4.2l I6 Swap

http://www.ls1tech.com/forums/forced-induction/670015-vnt-turbo-megasquirt.html <- This guy did it. MS + 6.6L duramax VNT, only on an iron 402 LSx motor. Looks like he eventually went with a twin T70 setup, citing that it was too small for the 402; considering that it's basically a GT45 or GT42...

    S2000 - build

One of two Honda's I'd be proud to own, right there. And with 50% more motor? You're after my heart, dude.

What do you carry in your mk3

1/4 and 3/8" drives, 8-21mm sockets, zip ties in five different sizes, 6-16mm line wrenches, 3lb sledge, scissor jack, bag of wire/butt connectors...pillow, blanket, TP, MREs, first aid kit, jumper cables, water, and a rain poncho. Plus the targa tool.

    XXR rims

Wish I could, man...300 is a great price for those. I just had to drop 500 on the deposit for custom 17x9 and 17x13's, though. And I won't even see them for a handful of months! T-T

    Titanium valves for the 7M

Lots of good info here...what's more good reading on valvetrain development? And I mean books; I think a good volume on this subject would prove a good addition to most of our libraries.

    Meth injection on a N/A

I think it would be a decent supporting mod for a (very) high compression build, but why not just convert to e85? All the benefits, less equipment and weight; even the fuel weighs less than normal gasoline. Hell, even add meth to that later on (could you?), or go e98 or even an all-out ethanol...

The absolute worst looking MK3, ever?

Whew, thought I'd see the demotivator someone made from a pic I had posted here of my supra. Found it the other day...shoulda saved it for posterity. Can't seem to find it again :-/ It pissed me off so bad that I put a deposit down on custom steel rims. That said. These guys FAIL, and in a bad...

    Limequat's 4.2l I6 Swap

With a Megasquirt, you can do a lot more than that. You could dial-a-boost depending on throttle position, intake temp, any number of things. Basically, boost pressure would become just another trim adjustment; set a static value, and add to or subtract from it to adjust for motor/environmental...

    Zankoku's Stealth Attack Supra
