    Gurley's 92 Teal 2JZ Project

Glad to see you kept the car...your bay is pretty much why I cry when I see my dirty old 7M sitting there. I think about pulling it out for block/bay/valve cover painting every time I pop the hood, and it's your fault, lol. I like the Enkei's...super slick, especially with your color. I'm...

DP + CAT Question. Failing emissons in CO

Indeed some interesting info; I liked that HC/CO/NOx chart so much that I grabbed the whole AirCare Repair PDF...the more you know, the harder it is for the man to stick it to you for driving a fast car.

    NorCal Supras!

I may or may not, it really depends on what's up with my bumper. If I can lay up more fiberglass, I will skip Infineon, but if it's curing...totally there.

Project Lex (aka: Teh Bean) '92 SC300

Plasti-dipped IC piping looks extra legit. I want to do something similar when I do mine...polished everything just isn't my thing. I was thinking of using a wrinkle coat of some sort, myself...but rubberized looks great, too.

DP + CAT Question. Failing emissons in CO

CO will grow exponentially the farther from the stoichiometric ideal of 14.7 AFR your tune is at the specific loads emissions testing is done at; this is because a cat is designed to catalyze at maximum efficiency at stoichiometric parameters or slightly leaner (ie, cruising speed). Hydrocarbons...

    Notorious M.K.3.

Or shave the corner lights and grille completely for super sleeper status. It'll throw anyone familiar with the cars off at first...I didn't even notice mine were shaved until a month after I had bought the car.

    NorCal Supras!

CREAM (cars rule everything around me) had their meets on Wednesday in Vallejo...they merged with the KBR meets that were happening on the same night, and now it seems everyone just shows up at Infineon to hang out on Wednesday nights. There's also a get together up here every Thursday at...

    NorCal Supras!

Hah, I fist pumped for his qualifying run. Nice burnout, and a pretty quick car to boot.

    NorCal Supras!

Saw a couple Supras at Infineon yesterday...burgundy -89 with a black hood + headlight cover scoop (saw it run a 13.9? 14.1? Can't remember which side you were on), a white 89+ (older guy, he was hitting fuel cut, ran with above), a grey 89+, and a dark red 89+. Looked around for the owners, but...

What are your favorite things about MKIII Supras?

There's something new to love every time you drive it... The stance makes it look like it's moving when you walk up to it. Then you open the door; feels solid, and frameless windows are the shit with the top off. And of course you sit down, and the 8-way seat treats you like a king: support...

    RX60 Cressida meets 2jz

Mike's right. As gas turns to varnish/turpentine, it takes on a maroonish red tint and gets a thicker viscosity to it. Can't remember for the life of me why, but that's the color our firebird always spits out when we let it sit for a year or two.

    NorCal Supras!

Also, $80 and you can get in on the drift action on the skidpad. They also have tire mount/balance...definitely going, so I hope to see a few of you there.

    NorCal Supras!

If my mk3 is running, then sure. If not, I might catch a ride with my friend in his 240.

    NorCal Supras!

I think I might have seen you there last week...there were two burgundy mk3s in the pits. It was hella random, my friends and I were coming back from SF on 101, and then remembered it was both Wednesday @ 530pm, right when Drag & Drift starts, and that Infineon was right there on 37 on the way...

    NorCal Supras!

Yeah, NorCal sucks. Supras are few and far between, and everyone thinks their Civic/Integra/Golf is the fastest thing ever. Meets are pretty pathetic out here -_-

when you just cant roll/ pull your fenders any wider, what are your options?

I'm *very* familiar with Weldcraft. They know me by phone number and first name, as I keep calling to get quotes on widening. You see...I need 17x15s. Check my build thread. Not to knock you, but I've learned more about rim design, modification and fitment than I care to discuss. Unless you're...

    Reloading ammo

All of my stuff I got from my dad, and it's all RCBS; most of it has been in service longer than I've been alive. I'd check out a retailer like Blue Press, cheaperthandirt, or even Cabella's...though the latter tends to inflate prices somewhat, all of the above usually don't carry sub-par...

Widebody: S2 front fenders and Kaze Aerocraft rear fenders (Shineautoproject Replica)

I meant that the front bumper is a great piece on its own. I have just the bumper, the rest of my car is all Wektor BM1 parts. I'm a fan of the Kaminari kit in the first place, though, and if it were available, I'd probably go that route if I were to pick up another mk3. Another thing is that...

when you just cant roll/ pull your fenders any wider, what are your options?

    1) Depends what side it gets welded to. If it's welded rear of where the face connects to the barrel (closer to the shock), it'll increase your offset by half the amount you widened it. Forward (towards the fender) would subtract half the amount widened from the offset; you'd have to rebarrel...

    Me drifting the SUPRA

Makes me miss my 2002 Camaro; the T-tops had tinted windows in them and a shade underneath with velcro fasteners to completely block out light. I'm staring at my targa now, wondering how hard it would be...I have to repaint it anyways, and polycarbonate will lay right in with fiberglass...
