    Head removal question

You just need to rotate the cams so the socket clears them. To be safe, I roll the engine forward ~30degrees so there's no chance of hitting valves and pistons.

The Madness Begins... 90 N/A-T Build

I would say go with a 2mm head gasket unless you already have the 1.9mm one in your hands. As for the bearings, if you don't want to go through the select-fit process, just order a standard size bearing set and install them. Check the clearances and see what they come up as- move forward once...

Would you guys pay US$540 incl postage for this?

*As long as they're legit. Sadly youll never know since they have no way of positively being ID'd.

    CT26C - Tell me more?

Do not buy rare parts. Buy something that will be reliable and easily serviced/replaced if it fails. Turbos are not rated as far as they "can flow up to 20psi" rather they are rated by total airflow produced. This is a guide to what the peak power output of the turbe could be, but only...

advice on what kind of exhaust to get.

I ran a divorced downpipe and it was fine, but I had issues with boost spiking too high. I swapped out a bellmouth downpipe and it seems a bit better, as well as the bellmouth fit slightly better than the DDP. Both were Ebay specials, and based off of that I would suggest you run this one. Its...

Whats the diameter of the stock ct26 exhaust wheel?

Bzzt, wrong. The 3S-GTE CT-26 is very much smaller than the 7M CT-26 in every way. Even if the 3S had a larger compressor wheel installed the turbine won't work in the 7M housing at all. Only option is a 7M turbo that's stock/upgraded/aftermarket bo or aftermarket (T-4/T-3)

How do i take off the door panel to my 1990 mkIII without breaking anything?

I highly suggest you buy a factory repair manual. They help a lot when you have no idea what you're doing. Well worth the money spent vs breaking stuff. Alternatively you can go to a local junkyard and find a Supra to practice taking its panel off before doing your own.

    Supra's in some recent mags

Chris is a super cool guy! Funnily enough he enjoys making ricer boys mad by bringing his car out to the street on the weekends and not racing the drag-prepped Hondas. I don't think I've ever seen so many people get so butthurt in real life! He was just chill and refused calmly with the added...

    R154 single disc clutch options?

Feramic clutches run into problems when you run an aluminum flywheel with a steel insert. The inset can't shed heat quickly enough to keep from overheating, which can lead to the insert (flywheel) welding itself to the clutch disc. Stick with a billet/chromoly/stock flywheel if you're goig that...

    clutch fan questions

This is an incorrect statement. Electric fans don't move as much air as a well designed (stock) clutch fan. The main reason they're used in production vehicles is for clearance. They also increase load on the electrical system, which may not be able to cope with the draw fans create...

    Project 2.5GT!

I think I'm going to change out and dissect my filter from last year to see what kind of crap the E-85 conversion did to it. I haven't noticed any pressure loss but its always nice to replace filters. ;)

    Odd problem....

There are 2 reasons for the 'BRAKE' light to come on- first is the parking brake, there's a switch on the handle assembly, it rarely fails. Second, there is a fluid level sensor in the brake fluid reservoir (part of the fluid cap iirc)- it uses a float and feed switch to turn on the light- it...

    4runner calipers

They will fit onto a 1990 4-Runner no problem! However, you will need to customize stuff to make it bolt on anything else, and even then it might not work correctly.

Catch can mounting on your MKIII JZ swap.

Not necessary, you want the gasses to be moving, otherwise it wouldn't be positive ventilation. You want it to flow both directions so its working right all the time!

Catch can mounting on your MKIII JZ swap.

Actually, the ideal system would take that top port on my catch can and run it to a vacuum port to maintain PCV circulation at all times. It has to be a small orifice, similar to what the factory port has, because it becomes a boost leak when manifold pressure is positive. That way when manifold...
