The rusty part on the upper pic is the inner wheelhouse and inner 1/4 structure. If you could get a new 1/4 from Toyota it would not come with those parts. Also, the inner 1/4 is a structural part on these cars and is very important. The rusty part in the lower pic is the outer wheelhouse...

1 inch box tubing. Make a brace that can support the bumper cover like the stock peice did. It will take considerably less space than the stocker, and weigh even less, all the while keeping the cover in place.

You'll need a window trim tool. It kind of looks like batwings with a handle in the middle. Even with it removing the trim without breaking the fifteen year old, brittle, plastic clips will be very tricky. Good luck.

Just swap the harness from your old dash to the replacement and you'll be fine.

I have no issues with mine. It's fairly tight, but I haven't noticed any contact and wouldn't trade them for anything. Here's a thought...Contact AAP about it as it's their part. Maybe they will have some insight. After all, if they make and sell them they probably know more about them than...

TwosRus sells a nice aluminum shift knob. It's threaded correctly for our shifters, and is offered in bare aluminum, or powdercoated in a range of colors. The grey metallic is hot! This is what I used when I had my 5-speed. I think they're $30 bare or $39 powdercoated, iirc...

Syris, If you buy a plate I'll gladly give you the DS specs. If you use another plate though, the specs may need to be different, and I don't want to be liable for non-fitment.

The adapter we're not sure on yet. As for the driveshaft it doesn't look like I'll be selling enough kits to be able to get a break on ds pricing. I'll probably just refer you to who made mine, with the specs that you need. They're very high quality, and very speedy. I ordered mine, and the next...
