Yes, to the best of my knowledge that harness will work. There were no differences on that connector between the N/A and the turbo models. It is located right below the steering column. But know this, that harness only houses the ignition functions for the basic operation of the turbo timer. You...
The speedometer/combination meter converts a usable speed signal and outputs it from connector 'D'(a connector on the back of the combination meter) pin 6 (a yellow wire with red tracer)and it goes over to the glovebox area and into connector 'M1' pin 3 and becomes a pink wire where it used to...
The select fit bearing is only avaliable through Toyota, no aftermarket uses this precise measurment system. And unfortunantly a few of the sizes are discontinued and no longer in stock for the 7M. So unless you get lucky and only need the bearing sizes they still have in stock then you will...
The slide pin on one of my front brake calipers seized, after reviewing the TSRM it recommends Lithium Soap Base Glycol Grease as the lubricant for the pins. http://www.cygnusx1.net/Supra/Library/TSRM/MK3/manual.aspx?S=BR&P=29
After looking around the internet to find a source it seems to be...
More specifically http://www.cygnusx1.net/Supra/TechTips/vacuum_hose.aspx has highlighted vacuum diagrams. Unfortunately it is not easily/obviously accessible from the TSRM link listed by OneJArpus, but like he says, if you haven't done so bookmark the TSRM.
Hmm. I don't suppose your over the counter variety glass etching cream has a high enough concentration of HF acid to do much. That sounds like a mess waiting to happen. If I don't get any bites on the used market by tuesday, Champion may be getting a call from me.
Well I can't seems to flush the lines clogged by Silica gel. It has hardened to a point that it will not break up. Unless someone has any ideas for a solvent I'm going to have to head over to the WTB section to try and find some pipes.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks JJ, over the years I've really lost patience with just throwing parts at a problem. Especially when a little time spent on the troubleshooting process can narrow down the issue. Granted, this time it still got me, it wasn't exactly the TXV, but I'm sure there are still a few beads in...
This is true, mindset is a big thing. But for the evo guys I know it extends all the way down to the gaskets and fasteners. Top to bottom. All of them have never ordered a part from Mitisubishi. Never replace, always upgrade, because everything is an upgrade. On our end how many of us have...
Backstory:
I recently purchased a 1992 Supra. Overall it was in really good condition. But the A/C didn't work. The previous owner lived by the ocean where it's cool so he never bothered to get it fixed. He did say that the owner before him(original owner) had a R-134 conversion done on it. The...
So, so true. But this seems very limited to Toyota. I have some Mitsu Evo friends that look at me like I'm insaine over how happy I am when I get OEM Toyota Parts.
Defiantly keep an eye on them. This is the reason I lost my fan, shroud, and radiator along with irreparable damage to my hood on my 2JZ supra. Under hard acceleration one of the motor mounts gave out. lots of destruction and loud noises.
Were they new or used?
How are Honda prices over there? Apparently some Honda motorcycle shims fit.

edit:Smashey beat me to it.
I agree with Another MKIII. My first Supra came with rear quarter damage, but the rest of it was in excellent condition, and the price was right so I bought it. I started looking for a donor car, planning to do the same thing you are. The one I found had a perfect body minus a crap ton of fast...
Wow, poor car, be sure to give her the care she deserves. As for T.E.M.S there is no feedback system. So the system only indicates what it is telling the shocks to do, it has no way of knowing if they are there doing what the're supposed to. You can check if the shocks are compatible by looking...
Are you sure you have T.E.M.S. compatible shocks? The previous owner may have ditched the actuators due to non-compatible replacement shocks.
And I know I'm being a bit pedantic but we have shock absorbers, not struts. Thank god we don't have struts.
I have a 2009 Yamaha FZ6 and I love that bike. I've put 30,000 miles on it in a year. Several cross country trips that were absolutely awesome. Though at this point I'm pretty sure I can be certified insane for doing my daily commute on it here in southern Cali. Traffic is fast, dense, and...
