I just retorqued mine with 197k on the clock. They weren't that loose but definitely weren't at the proper torque. Haven't had a chance to drive it yet.

From my experience, hard Nylon will last forever and serves the purpose pretty well. Maybe not forever but I havn't lived that long yet. They give a tiny bit and might not be quite as harsh as metal spacers but still...
Thermostat housing is minus a port for the BVSV because JDM's apparently didn't have the charcoal canister either. Because of this, the throttle body only has one vacuum port on the top instead of two.
Theres a REALLY nice black Mk2 with a 7m in it in the back of the April issue of Super Street I just received. There's also a super hawt mk4 with a Top Secret widebody in it. Pretty cool.

Im not a huge vw fan but some of the old schools dubs were pretty cool..
