It came from my 88 donor car. It ran fine.....I sold the harness to Shaeff and still have 2 ecu's....:) Here's a pic....

Are you looking for a manual ECU? If so I have one. Shaeff....on the 89 (which I have) the new harness matches up perfectly to the dash harness. Is there anything else to look for?

Is your engine a total loss or can you rebuild it? If it can be rebuilt that would be the way to go.

You will run into problems with the dash harness. Just use the 89 harness on the 87 engine.

Yes....so it will be a yellow plug harness. Just let me know if you need one.

Just use the right computer ........do it right. If it is a yellow plug harness I have 2 computers for sale. And I am sure Shaeff can vouch for me...:)

Is copper spray generally used on regular head gaskets as well as metal hg's? I have my donor gte on the stand and saw that copper spray was used but I am trying to figure out if the engine has a Metal hg on it. Thanks.....

G I would double check with Mike @ Champion but last week when I was looking into purchasing one from them he only has one harness listed from 89+ ....so based on that I dont think you specifacally need one from the 90.

The auto ECU will be just fine like Gaboon said.

Did you disconnect the pressure plate from the flywheel? $20 says you didn't.....:)
