Is there any way to fix the rust in the wells? I'm not going to drop the entire back end out anytime soon, and someone I know said that they grinded the rust out as much as the could and sealed some metal on there. Would this work?
My final plans are for 400 or more horsepower. This is waaay down the road though.
I'm not planning on painting anything until I get some very good power and speed. All go, no show. At least until the go is in effect. But no show shouldn't be confused with bad condition, naw mean?
And I...
I made my second mistake: Buying another Supra. I'm running an 88 N/A, and I wanted boost. So I bought an 89 for a grand. It has BHG. Now I was planning on yanking the motor out, fixing the HG, doing a few things here and there and dropping it in my 88. The thing is, it's grown on me. The...
i'm confused as to why. If I have an MKIII 1j front clip why would I need to purchase additional parts? Can't I just take everything out the engine bay and swap it in mine?
$5,000 was just an example, I was trying to prove a point of saying I don't want to buy a motor for X thousands, then spend X thousands just to get it moving.
What should I be ready to do? HG obviously, but internals as well? I'm not wanting to have a broke ass motor sitting in my garage, waiting for $5,000 to be put in just to make it run.
I didn't know exactly which section to put this in.
By browsing JDM motor sites found my Google, how the hell am I supposed to know if that site is trustworthy? I don't want to spend $1200+ and then get a big hunk of useless metal. Does anybody have any experience or know anyone who does?
Oh dear God, this hose exploded on me Saturday. I thought I had BHG from all the coolant burning everywhere. It's a bitch to replace but I got everything done in one night.
So I noticed yesterday that my engine temperature was high yesterday. It was about a 15 minute drive from work to my house. I check the coolant and it's low. So I add coolant. Today, I see the bird cage indicator is on. I check the coolant reservoir and it's very, very low.
Both yesterday...
OK, so what exactly should I do? The cancel switch has to be ground, that doesn't really help me much. Which is the cancel switch? I took a multimeter to the plastic piece where a lot of wires attach to and I'm not getting any current. Yet somehow all the electronics in the door work...
OK gentlemen, I took the panel off a while ago and got nowhere. I have noticed though, that the alarm goes off even before I open the door. I'll unlock it, and right as I'm about to grab the latch it goes off.
When I had the panel off, I couldn't find any blue or orange wires or anything as...
It's done it three times in three days. Now I'm going to slit this bitch's throat. Time to get mended, cunt bag!
How do I take off the door panel? Where are all of the screws located?
