What are my options when it comes to Valve guides? I need a new set for the head at the machine shop Ive seen whats on ebay but cant find much else anyone ever redone the guides?? also the machine shop trys to avoid doing the guides and would rather put in over size valves and machine the guides...

Do you not know how to use a tape measure? If you cannot measure you are going to have lots of fun making the rest, put a straight edge on the face of the flange and measure the depth, then measure the width of the opening then cut the tab and tack onto the flange test fit to make sure it fits...

You have to have load on the engine,on stands wont do much other than improper break in on your rings I do all mine in third or forth gear 1000rpm-4000rpm pulls plenty of load on the rings
