Its gonna be hard to find a review because they JUST came out.
Hella contacted me about a month ago telling me about them. Since I dont sell halogens, I didnt really care but I did find it intersting. Worth a shot at that price. And I must disagree with the PIAA Ion bulbs, I cant stand those...
Those are the same ones that I mentioned from rallylights but they want a few bux more and higher shipping rate on the ebay one. So its cheaper to go thru rally lights.
What you want to ensure is that you get the E-Code lamps with a E1 rating. All others that claim SAE/DOT compliance will...
Yes for halogen only, their Hella Conversion kits simply replace your existing headlight. Just add a bulb, replace the headlamp, plug it in and go.
Even thouse who dont want HID or cant afford it, this should be a great improvement to your lighting in general. You wont be disappointed.
HID does not need a glass housing to work properly. What it needs is a GOOD housing to work right. Projectors will reduce glare the best and give the best beam pattern over any reflector output. But the time it takes to retrofit them in correctly can be very time consuming and not everyone has...
Only one side was working when I drove the car home for the first time a few weeks ago. Now after installing the new fogs, I dont read any voltage on either side. So im looking for the fuse(s). If that doesnt work out, im just going to use the ground signal from the switch and relay to the fogs...
lol, well thanks for the info.
I was able to somehow flex myself into the compartment and remove the lid and get a partial view of the fuses in there. I saw all of them but didnt see the 15A for the fogs. I would have to somehow get deeper in there by the pedals but its a PITA and Istill cant...
I'll stick with my answer, but im no expert when it comes to halogens.
I do have some experience with Euro Silverstars, but if you cant get those, look for Narva H4. Otherwise go with one of those kits listed on the above site.
Ah I see. Its probably hiding beind the kick panel which I have never removed.
Thanks. If you have ever gotten to this fuse, please let me know if you have to remove the entire panel to get to it.
Well I dont really know because I just bought the headlights without the bulbs for the HID Conversion. Otherwise, read my previous reply as I edited it.
I dont understand that question...."?"
After reading again I think I understand. Youre asking about the lamp kits sold there. I dont really recommend any of those because I dont think those bulbs really are very good. I suggest if you plan to stick with halogens, is to find H4 EURO-Silverstars...
Damn that fuse box is a PITA to get to.
But I just checked and although the fuse was shown on the backside of the panel, I searched for the actual fuse and it doesnt appear to be there, just a wire harness.
I dont know if I just missed it or if im blind, but is there a seperate fuse for the foglights? One of my fogs was out when the carwas purchased, but when I tok the car from DriftMotion, we tested them and one turned on.
Well now I installed new fogs with a yellow capsule inserted in them but...
