For as much elbow grease as this requires, I would think you would want to invest in good paint, but if the budget doesnt allow for it, I guess it can turn out decent.
Thats the same exhaust I have on my 1JZ. Sounds a little different in person but nice nonetheless. Its nice and quiet driving around but when you get on it, man its beautiful. Definatly cant really enjoy it until you hear it at WOT.

Wouldnt the craftsman stipped screw remover kit work on this application as well? It should be able to dig in and twistthem out as long as they arent rusted in place.

Yes the long ones that come with sawblades work. They appear to be very long, but they fit under the center cap, at least on the mk4 TT wheels they do.
I think having classic plates would be nice, but as far as insurance goes, its cheap as it is. My insurance company actually told me to only get liability because the car is old and they can only cover so much because of its value. So, there would be no point in throwing $1000 per year to a car...
As for shipping, it can be as low as $300-$400
Find a freight carrier that has a shipment from CA to your area, and has room for a clip and they will gladly take something small like a clip and charge you for it. Otherwise they loose 300-400 bux for nothing.
