ok well i just went to carquest and told them everything i needed (cam seals, crank seal, valve cover gaskets, and timing belt)... everything turned out to be around $140.

"2. Do it yourself. Crank seal = $11.02 (part number 90311-52003), Cam seals = $1.76 (part number 90311-35008) each, Timing belt = $19.32 (part number 13568-42010)." Are those prices that I might find at carquest and strauss, or are those prices that the toyota dealers set?

I considered doing this cut mod but I didn't because the higher shifter (stock) lets me sit back in my seat and shift. If I had the shorter shifter I would have to sit forward more to shift, and I wouldn't like that since I'm tall.
