alright then i guess i'm doing what i originally wanted to do... take out all the pipes and try to duplicate them, or make them better, at the metal/machine shop that i have free access to.
EDIT: would this be a really good time to upgrade the intercooler? to what?

How do you go about building your own hardpipes?
I have access to a metal/machine shop and defenitly have the tools to do it, but how hard can it really be?
I've never built anything custom before, should I just take out all the stock IC pipes and copy them with some exhaust pipeing...
Sorry for not updating in a while, I had to pause my repair work and focus on college for a little bit.
I'll post more in a couple weeks, when I'm back at home.
As much as I don't want to, I'm going to put the new cam seals on, clean up the engine compartment, put the new valve cover gaskets on, and get all the new hoses. Oh and the new PCV pipe too.
I don't have the time and the funds to do a rebuild until I'm out of college in a couple years.
Can anyone point me twoards everything I need to start a rebuild? I've seen lots of guides about rebuilds and such, but most of them are like, "take engine out, take this off, clean this, replace this, put engine back in".
Are there any guides out there that include everything noobish such as...
