by yourself a compression tester for 30 bucks at any auto parts store...while youre there buy a 10-15 dollar thermostat and oring...and call it a day... im pretty sure your thermo needs replacing...
so simple yet people have problems with it... it only fits ONE way...you more then likely havebeen trying it the wrong way... ;)
flip it around a few times...it will work
yeah thats what i figured...
i really wish someone would give up his setup..namely the turbo hes running..and id love to see engine bay shots...
is he still running stock internals?
i dont think they were bracket racing...i just think he sat at the line until he got the revs where he wanted them to get the right launch..... since the time wont start until you leave the line ....the reason i say tat is because im sure he dialed in a 10.5ish and woon im sure dialed in a...

2) again pics... ;)

on a side note...what are you going to do with the jdm cut...
honestly im not 100% sure...it very well could have come with fipg from factory...HOWEVER i was just saying there is a cork gasket for it...and it CAN be used... :p
the oil pan actually has/had a cork gasket...when torqued PROPERLY the cork gasket works fine...however the better option regardless would be FIPG.

frankly it could be a bunch of small things..but if it JUST started happening after you put the electric fan on..thats most like your...
oil most definitley got in between your mating surfaces...
pull it off and clean it up...and dont do it again ;)
honestly if you run it like this and DONT get another BHG id be very surprised and say you are the luckiest guy in the world :D
as for the connector id have to see a pic...as nothing is coming to mind...
the HAC sensor mounts on the little metal bat on the bottom that the glovebox hinges bolt to ...right in the middle with one screw.
