Yeah, rubberized spray, when that stuff goes on, you better hope thats where you want it to go... ;)
gixx: definately will be lower... Im mounting it on a plate that will be mounted to the back of the diff subframe, and that is lower than the tank, but will still be shielded...
IJ: maybe I should just paint it with the rubberize stuff I used on the tnk so it blends in, lol..
Thanks for the back up guys... I just gotta come up with a plan B, lol...
FT: Yes, Im running an Aeromotive A1000 pump... -10an feed to the pump, with a 85 micron pre filter and a 40 micron post filter, running -8an braided feed line with a -6an return...
IJ: do you mean to make it stealth? Or protect it from heat? You know what I was thinking, if someone wanted...
Yeah, give give give... :D
Ok, I got the tank installed yesterday, will post pics of the tank coated in rubberized coating... Looks good, I like it... Also, I just got back from the transmission shop, dropped her off for a rebuild... I'm going to pick her up on monday, and maybe next week...
Nate, first pics I took of my turbo were April 13th, 2006... I had it for about a week before I took pics... Ive had it for a while now, lol...
Im a fire crotch, hahahaha...
Jeff, if I hadnt already dropped my motor in, I would sell you mine... Talk to Sethron or check here: http://www.supramania.com/forums/showthread.php?t=38211
But I dont have an extra plug under my dash for that pig tail... Also, the AEM doesnt have a plug for that, so its just wierd... I dont think I've ever seen an ECU with the pig tail... Not that Ive seen ALOT of them, but...
Nate? Depressed? Dont worry buddy, I was "supra" depressed yesterday too...
But, you know what depressed is:
being 2 grand away from finishing your goal and not being able to...
missing yet ANOTHER Supra meet because your car is STILL down...
having people ask you on a daily basis...
Ok, talk about learning something new everyday... I always thought HAC stood for "Heat/Air Conditioning", probably because Im a construction guy, haha... Well, found the TSRM on line for the pre89 and found out the HAC is for High Altitude Compensation...
