ya I thinking it's part of the tail houseing
some thing got to keep that shaft steady and the breaing retainer plate is pretty far away so it makes em wounder i am no trans guy thous why I asked
that whould be shitty if i had to replace the tail hoseing :nono:
Well turns out I getting some leakage from my rear out put shaft seal and I am thinking that my yoke bushing is worn out
now the question is, can this be changed with the trans in the car and removed with slide hammer and install with a bushing driver
or do i have to pull the tail...
yes there is away to make is stick like it is steel wrap
what ya need is heat gun or gf's hair dryer heat guns works the best thou
the trick is to wet the wrap then use the gun to heat it so it shrinks and tightens to the pipe

in all the ones that gave me issues was once it got warm after a pull it got sticky and started to stick open never have yet to have one stuck closed

what you do is make sure it moves freely some times it takes little hogging with die grind to get rid of the binde out
i had this on couple of cars just make sure shit is flu lent
